@MadnessWarriorKiller erm, superman has made darkseid bleed at least twice in this show, and utterly owned him in the last episode. He was clearly very injured there. No he wasn't gushing blood because it's an american cartoon and is censored.

@MadnessWarriorKiller erm, that little rant was kinda sad. I mean I'm definitely not a huge superman fan. He has his good points but overall I find him quite boring, and I realize that in this show he's been heavily nerfed. However he's clearly far stronger than darkseid. Darkseid used that pain device to beat superman. It has nothing to do with strength. Before he used it he'd been visibly damaged by a superman who didn't appear to be trying.

@emmagio56 no that was the news back in 2008 but as of may this year the movie and other movies by DC, building up to the Justice League, have been confirmed. movies such Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Green Lantern. And yeah Darkseid WILL be in the Justice League movie in around 2013/14, if the world hasn't ended by then.

Now in the comics it was explained that the Anti-Life Equation that Darksied wanted would allow him control everyone's thoughts. The writer that came up with that explained his reasoning for it saying that in his view if someone controlled everything about you then you aren't really alive.
