  • today 10 years

  • This song is very well written. Thank you, Kristy Jackson, for showing us all, once again, how important our songwriters are in expressing our feelings which we cannot always express ourselves.

  • Truest meaning of "hero". God bless them!

  • that was beautiful...we don't know what we've got til its gone.

  • Awesome Video !!

Here's a thought . Was 9/11 a great sign & warning to all people from God of the Time of Trouble to come ? EXACTLY 10 YEARS LATER ie. Sept 2011 viz. 9/11.

Consider Middle East on Fire, US & Europe on the brink, E/quakes, Tsunamis , Tornados, Floods & ALL NATIONS CLOSING IN ON ISRAEL over Jerusalem IN SEPT-11 just as BIBLE SAYS.

Sceptical maybe ?? go to wvvw.beyondcomingworldcrisis com & see the evidence. You’ll be amazed !!!

  • The man behind that day may be finaly dead it still dont change what happened on that day 10 years ago. but at least our angels can finaly rest <3

  • this represents my life cause i was 3 years old and my dad was in 911 as a firefighter but he came back but he lost contact with my mom and me for 5 hours it was hard i was crying the whole time

  • God bless him,and you sweet heart

  • Sometimes hell hits us directly. Priests can pray but it's firefighters we look to to save the day. They manifest the hero hidden in all our hearts. My new song and video is about just that at "thebailiffsings". To all firefighters - thankyou!

  • R.I.P. EVERY BODY IN THE U.S.A. IT'S 9 YEARS A GO

    R.I.P. FROM THE NETHERLANDS

  • I worked a few blocks from the NYSE at that time. Saw the whole things unfold. A guy in my office was in the towers. He didn't make it out. He was 27 and had just gotten married two months prior. I will never forget nor let history be rewritten!

  • FLY YOUR FLAG EVERY DAY ....LIGHT IT EVERY NIGHT.....DO NOT FOR ONE MINUTE GIVE UP UP ON THIS COUNTRY......

  • God bless those who lost their lives that tragic day. Thank you to all the heroes who helped save some lives, even though they couldn't save them all.

  • this song still brings me chills

  • I heard this song shortly after 9-11 but just found it now.

    Perfect.

    God bless our heroes.

  • A beautiful song. Such an appropriate tribute to those on United 93, as well as all the flights (some reports tell that passengers on the second plane that hit the WTC were in the early stages of planning a "fight-back"), and those in New York and Washington who died. We'll never forget. And this song is beautifully written, performed and extremely appropriate. Heartbreaking.

  • I was in Jr. High and was not a big news watcher. I did not know what had every one so up in arms and sad on the bus ride to school till my home room teacher asked if any one had not seen the morning news. About 4-5 of us raised our hands she then told us what had happened and asked if we needed some time. I was numb for the next hour.

  • I was 3 and i remember a teacher taking my teacher into the hall and she came back sobbing. A litle while after my mom came to get me then my bro. we sat together ustairs. Mom and Dad stared at the tv even after it was turned off

  • Kristy is a friend of the family since childhood and did an amazingly awesome job with this song. Wow!

  • Im from Austria but I have been in Philadelphia when that happened and I will never forget!

Its the end of the world as we know it That went through my mind when I heard the new and somehow R.E.M were right. 9/11 changed everything! Another part of dark history was made on that day.

R.I.P to everyone who lost their live in this nightmare! You will never be forgotten because you will always be remembered.

(Sorry for mistakes. English is not my first language)

  • I was in california, my mom woke me with a phone call and told me to turn on the news. . . I did and just stopped. . . I don't remember too much after that, most of the day I was on spaced out, trying to wake up from the bizzar nightmare I woke up too. . . but I knew it was real, and I would never forget.

  • 1st grade. i was grounded so i couldnt watch cartoon network. i yelled at my dad because all he would let me watch was "dummyhead george bush". i had no idea what was actually happening

  • I was in 2nd grade and I was the only kid who understood what happened. I still remember everything like it was yesterday. I still remember those scenes that were shown on tv. I watched the memorial last year with my friends dad who is now a firefighter. I had never seen this guy cry or show any sort of emotion like this before I sat and watched the memorial with him. RIP All who lost their lives.

  • I was in 2nd grade when this happened. I was one of the only kids who understood what happened and what it meant. I live in michigan so I wasn't even close to there when it happened, but now I know a lot of people who have been sent to Iraq. When this song came out my grandma listened to it with me, then got me a signed copy because I listened to it so much. My grandma died 2 months ago and I can't listen to this song without it making me cry again.

  • I was 6 when it happened and i came out of school and my mum was realy worried about her friends in NY so we rushed home and luckly her friends were safe but when it was explained to me what happened i cried for all those whohad lost thier lives. I will never forget how shocked I FELT.

  • I was in 5 grade when it happened...I live in Indiana. Nobody knew anything happened until a kid who was arriving late to school, came running in and asked if we heard what happened in NY. The teacher didn't know so we turned on the tv. After a few minutes, we saw the second plane hit. And everybody was absolutely dead silent...

  • hearing this song makes me so sad i hate terrorists i know their gonna die and i KNOW their gonna go to hell because they are so retarted for killing themsleves for no reason

  • not just killing themselfs for no reason thoughg, unfortunatley they kill themselfs dfor the reason of killing our kind, because they havea grudge ... just why , theres no reason for it, if they dont like us why are they here ? x

  • Chefallman. God bless your son for serving our country. I'm proud of him and the other marines that are serving our country. I'm happy hes home now. I know 9/11 was 8 years ago. It was a terrible sad day for all of us. We should never forget what happened that day and to those that lost their lives.

  • We will never forget 9/11 victims your family's and friends may be sad but they know your in a better place and you always will be you don't deserve to die the terrorist do R.I.P 9/11 Victims

  • Today in my World History class we took the time to remember and reflect on 9/11 and the people who fight for our country. For 15 minutes we did nothing, no talking, no writing, no work, we just sat there and thought and listened to 9/11 tribute music. It really affected my teacher. He was in the army at the time in upstate NY. He helped in search & rescue at ground 0.

  • GOD BLESS AMERICA! this song is moving... i cry when i hear this..god bless you kristy..

  • This song is so sad! my teacherm played this at school today! i almost cried! so sad!! this day will always b remembered! poor ppl who died! NO ONE WILL EVER BE FORGOTTEN! EVER! EVER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Never forget.

It may hurt... but we can never forget.

  • 8 years on... will people forget?

  • I was teaching school 8 years ago today... it never goes away, the terror, the thoughts, the tears. The kids I often think about, the impact they were left with! Kristy, I used this song to show that we are all Hero's in our own way! God bless all those that were lost that day! America is still the best place in the world to live!

  • I am in tears... again... What an awful day this was. My son joined the Marines shortly after this happened. He served 2 tours in Iraq and 2 in Afghanistan. Thank you Americans for supporting him during his time "over there". He is home now thank God.

  • May we never forget our fallen from September 11, 2001.

  • @dytimmys ....Lt Tim..thank God you for u and ur service..God Bless you

  • We shall NEVER FORGET this day

  • I've loved this song since the first time I heard it. Living on Long Island and always going to the city, it's hard (even now) to go into the city and not think about what happened there. It was a very confusing day (considering no one told us anything, but that could be because we were only 4th graders). I will never forget that day. Thanks 9/11 heroes <3

  • Wow... this is so interesting. I am from Long Island, and I was only in fourth grade on 9-11-01. That day was so chaotic. I remember my grandma, who since passed away, picked me up mid-school day and told me bad things were happening, and we should be together as a family in case more bad stuff happened. I was so confused. Even today, I don't believe anybody can understand the magnitude of what happened on that terrible day. Really, thank you all of our heros.

  • When she gets to the first round of the chorus, I get a knot in my throat, when I remember certain people.

Once the piano finishes it's last note, i'm sobbing.

Never forgot those we lost, the heroes and heroines, the angels that still watch us in the sky. <3

(Thank you 9/11 heroes. With all our hearts.)

  • it was the plane that went down that this song was about. its about one of the families from kristys church. i found that out when i asked her if i could sing this for a talent show.

  • Actually, Kristy wrote it after the cell phone conversations from Fl. 93 were released and broadcast. One of the flight attendants was from her home town but she didn't know her personally.

  • Thank you for posting this. It brings tears to everyone's eyes, and hopefully peace to the hearts of all those who were left behind. May God bless us all.

  • i always cry cause of this song

atleast god is watching over us all and the victims of the attack

  • can you believe that some new casters still believe that 9-11 was just an accident??? There was also a plane headed for the White house but landed in a field somewhere. I feel so bad for the passengers of the planes, they thought they were just going to a normal flight somewhere...Who could possibly have the nerve to kill all those innecent people? it makes me cry ='(

  • The people in the plane that landed in the field disintegrated by the impact or that's what I think happened to the people in the plane

  • rip too all the victims and their families in usa xxx

  • This song makes me cry every time hear it.

RIP 9/11 victims, we'll never forget

  • Thank you for this song, Kristy. It gave me strength then, and it always will.

  • Loved but Never Forgotten

Rip All Victims God bless the U.S.A

  • I first heard this song one late summer night; I am not sure of the year, Perhaps it was one September 11th.

As I heard this song I cried inconsolably as a 5 year old who has lost his Mom in a crowded Street.

My hometown is Jersey city NJ I grew up near the end of York St.

As a child I remember the construction from beginning to the end

To me the Twins were as my Siblings when they fell: So did my heart.

God Bless America We will never forget, nor we'll ever stop looking for Justice.

  • Stupid terrists!!! Why did this have to happen???? This 9/11 killed many unaware innocent people. Their children and wives were to be heartbroken. And still are. If you really think about it, this could happen. In 2001, I really did'nt really know what happend ntill 2002. I was so very upset. No mattter how many times I listen to this song, I cry.
