1) I have been to Afghanistan and I know how brave a people they are. I wish them well.

2) US & Afghanistan both are being destroyed through permanent war, both are targets.

3) Wars are fought with labour, not money.

4) No party is in control of the country, and that is so by design.

5) There is no unified "resistance" against the occupation.

6) The war isn´t only about energy transport, it´s about destroying Arab/Muslim power.

But it depends on your scope of the issue. I dont think the reasons why we entered the war were valid, nor that it was money well spent. But we HAVE to take into account that we DID invade someone else's country, uproot their systems and kill lots of civilians in the process. An "unwinnable war"; I believe this term is misleading. It suggests that the war is being waged to be won on the battle-field, vs. an "enemy" in the old-fashioned sense, & that isn´t so. There is some popular armed resistance vs. the occupation, but it isn´t an army, & it couldn´t survive in the mountains & villages without help provided via neighbouring countries, & through various channels. The resistance is supported by the "war on terror" party. It´s needed to make the war appear legitimate.
