Thanks to all for your views and messages of support. We were spared flood damage. The lower end of our street was inundated and many of our neighbors have suffered greatly. Great spirit here to get the town and the entire state back on its feet. You can help us by urging your Senators and Representatives to stop playing political games with disaster assistance. At one time or another, we will all need it and it's no time for a protracted policy debate.
Sorry you all got hammered. I'm amazed how much the river rose out of the banks.
I live in Oregon, but was through your town in 2000 (fall color thing) . I been looking to see what you lost... to me your post are better than the news Thank you for your efforts. At over 11,900 views I would say alot of people thinking of you.
Church hill is ok. River street had significant flooding. I was actually shoveling mud out of someones basement this morning on the Mount Tom side. The river was half way up the rock foundation on the little house on the left going towards Billings.
I'm just catching up on the destruction in Woodstock (my former home town).. Are you on River St filming this? Is that the Rt 4 bridge by the rec center?
We are safe, and our home across the street from this suffered no damage. East and West of us were innundated. Terrible destruction. Thanks for thoughts and prayers for all of us in NNE!
It's all so sad! I hope that your home was OK!! I'm in Ascutney and we didn't have much flooding right here but we're not right next to any rivers really. I can't believe the devastation!! Take care!!

Thank you for the video. Woodstock has a very special place in my heart I used to live there and worked at The Prince and the Pauper.

Any destruction on Church Hill? Or the Gilbert home on River Street, by the cemetery?

A friends house was totally flooded on that river. And another one was in danger of being swept down. This was devastating!
