  • awesome!

  • I m planning to buy a garmin 740s, my quesiton is with the transducer: I don t like to drill holes in the hull, so is there any transducer which i can install it in my boat (fiberglass floor) and work ?? I dont mind losing temperature capabilities

  • "95% of fish live in 5% of the water" ?? really, where did you get that information, wikibullshitapedia?

  • I don't like fishing and I don't know why I watched this video. but I learned something!

  • This is like cheating in a video game, seriously.

If you have even a little skill, you dont need this.

  • my dad say never stop learning

  • I'm in the uk, my grandads giving me his sea boat, this came in really handy!

  • hahahaha cool

  • This is a joke, right?

  • Is that skeeter a i-class???

  • how can u kill for fun??

  • Dude its the guy from south park! MR HANKY!

  • THANK U

  • So your saying there are mini submarines?!?!?! lol

  • @tylerneier no he's talking about fish!!!!!!

  • @tylerneier Wonder if they are russian...dude you should call the government. this might be big.

  • Transducer placement is CRUCIAL. Auto depth is a great feature. Depth cursor is a new feature. The arc comes from the air bladder. Saltwater setups are a little different.

  • lame video. no explanations and moved through topics at light speed. i spat on you sir.

  • good luck not learning how to use a depth finder

  • I like my fish finders to show fish not what could be TREES!...O hey theres a school down there...O wait nope...its a log...yep there goes that 7 dollar lure.

  • I'm still confused! Just going to rely on my trusty gut.

  • He needs differnet boat that thangs is fugly

  • (Question) Looking at the way the transducer is shaped looks like it projects the signal forward. So if you could find a way to mount it pointing perfectly in front of the boat it would display what's in front of the boat. Or does the transducer just send out a reading from all around the boat like a radius scan? Like a beacon.

  • @screamindemon6x it send down signals in a radius till it hits the bottom then does the same in reverse. 50hz is a narrow band of circles and for deep water say 100 meters and beyound. 200hz is for shallow water and sends out big circles and you dont need that much power in shallow water as you would in deep water.

  • @screamindemon6x it needs to point down so the waves can bounce off the bottom and send its signal back to the boat

  • Really useful video, thanks for posting that.

  • Thank you

  • This man knows how to fish.

  • great vid, thanks

  • cool video, nice sonar unit

  • Great introduction to fishfinder technology. It was good information for the novice or experienced fisherman. Thanks for the video.

  • sales mouth

  • that shits funny. hahah

  • i used to use a rope with anchor and just keep droping it off the side to find the drop off shelfs. Low tech, but effective for those who dont have money their own boat

  • I learned something today.I always wonder how a fishfinder works. Thanks for the video!

  • Now go on...get!

  • This fish finder using GPS or no need to use??

  • If you plan on fishing a BIG lake then I would like it, but you don't need it.

  • @crs1012 more for sea use

  • @crs1012 Fish finders really help in large rivers.

  • No need to use the GPS. you can use the sonar only or both on a split screen.

  • Once you know where the fish are according to your fish finder you simply throw your line out and fish. The fish will find your bait. No need to know where to cast left or right they will find the yummy food your providing.

  • Awesome Thank you.

  • Ok, so you mount the transducer in the back of the boat.

And you can "see" the fish, but how do you know where you need to trow the lure?

How do you know they are on the right, or to the left, etc?

  • ahahahhahahahahhaha THE FISH CAN ACTUALLY SWIM TO THE LURE U R_E_T_A_R_D

  • hahaha

  • you fish with a sniper riffle eh? sorry my bad

  • We Learn evey day

  • LOL tooth......
