Nokia N8 would be the perfect smartphone... except that it uses a Symbian OS, and so there's little to no support for my favorite apps... ie, no Pandora Radio, no Netflix... plus there are no built-in equalizer settings (I use TTpod v4.4... in chinese). I would trade this phone in for an iPhone 4 or an HTC Evo Android phone, if it weren't for the magnificent camera, HMDI-out, internet radio, dependable cell reception, 32GB microSD, and affordable price.

@safwanul447 I don't think the n8 is better in every way. Ovi sucks to be honest, but Nokia phones have the best build quality and the best cameras.The design and UI isn't great though. I'm not an Apple fag, just being unbiased here. I've been using Nokia's for 10 years so I used to love it. It just depends on your preferences. I prefer Androids nowadays, so much customization and functionality, tried iPhones and it got boring after a month or so. Same shit day after day, nothing to customize.

@safwanul447 Not really, My SGS2 lasts 2days max, 1 day at a minimum, which is great for a smartphone. And not all the apps are useless, it just depends on your lifestyle. For example I for one like to listen to music, tweak my phone, and also on a regular basis need my files edited in odt, word, or powerpoint formats. I have apps that let me do that while on the go. And unlike the itunes, the android market gives these apps for free. So its kinda worth the consideration.

@safwanul447 Well good for you that it lasts a week. Even my Nokia 1100 lasts 4 days max. (That's with heavy texting). Well, that's because it runs dual core and I think the companies have yet to find a counter measure to it. My SGS2 doesn't do that though, it only heats up when using an app called skifta and idk why this happens, when the battery is bellow 20% and I listen to music it heats up to about 38 degrees (celsius). But when its above 20% it doesn't.

But one thing that really lets down n9, its OS support, since Meego is the first and last of its kind it wouldn't be a good choice to buy one since they won't do much with it, unless they take back what they said about it being a dead OS.
