Want to improve health care? Get government completely out of it, and get government out of insurance. Our government adds tremendous cost to both healthcare and insurance by its mismanagement and micromanagement. Keep an eye to make sure people aren't being abused? Sure; but outside of this government shouldn't be involved. Let insurance companies set their own rates and plans, give people options. Lower taxes to companies who offer bennefits like medical instead of more taxes.
I agree with Huckabee on the point that he makes about health care. There is too much concern on fixing problems rather than preventing them from happening in the first place.
there is too much concern on big pharma making money. if our helthcare system didnt function by MAKING MONEY OFF THE SICK AND DYING, they could actually work to cure diseases.
Its always the talking heads that make it to the primaries. Any good candidates are always filtered out through the caucases and preliminaries. After listening to this I've decided something. If you want a president who will get something done.....vote for Tancreedo. We will have something we need in this country. A president of American values.
Amazing, Huckabee mentions the same line about healthcare that John Kerry mentioned in his campaign for president. The line being if you give the folks in congress the same insurance that most americans have, they will strive to fix it. Therefore every american should get the same insurance that the congress gets. Im paraphrasing here but you get the idea.
Oh yes, and JHBowden: Do a search on Wikipedia or any online encyclopedia for "a federal constitutional republic" & then, "Socialism". Then look at Ron Paul's stance directly off of his site. Also people, check this 1 article out to get a real feel for Ron Paul's supporters:
check out the poll that was done by ABC after the iowa debate!!!!!
RON PAULS got over 30,000 more votes than the next highest voted candidate and if you combine all the other candidates votes together RON PAUL STILL has a clear majority of just under 20,000 more votes and this is no lie people!!!!!!!!!
i'm not even an american, but this guys got me excited!!!! there may be hope for you yanks yet (and the rest of us that happen to live on this earth). INSHALLAH!!!!
learn how to spell Al Qaeda before you choose to slam a man who sees that our foreign policy is jacked up. Don't put words into his mouth. He is all about battling Al-Qaeda however he recognizes that Al-Qaeda did not have a presence in Iraq and therefore we were wrong to use them as an excuse to go in.
No, Ron Paul is not. He wants to be "friends" with our enemies, which in al-Qaeda's case means letting them have Iraq as a base of operations. Paul is a bigger douche than most socialist Democrats.
That's Interesting. Says who, you? So if you are making assumptions, is it safe to assume that there is plenty of documentation out there to support your conspiracy theory? Where is the proof?
Republicans are supporting Hillary in polls. A little bird told me. See, you aren't the only one that can make up stuff and pretend it is a fact.
Look at every scientific poll among Republican voters. RuPaul usually doesn't break 1%. RuPaul dominates online polls because the Kos Kids and others think they are sticking it to their greatest enemy, President Bush, by voting for RuPaul.
JHBowden: You obviously are uninformed and biased. Being a personal friend of Ron Paul's family (I was born and raised in the same town he raised his family[Lake Jackson, TX], I helped him campaign at 10 yrs old during his 1st election for Congress), I can promise any reader, Dr. Ron Paul is the only non-politician, but an honest American trying to make a difference for the better. Dr. Ron Paul knows the Constitution better than any politician out there, and he votes by it. Check his record.
Ron Paul is scary. He clearly doesn't have a grasp of the real conflict against Islamic facists. He's said in previous debates that our foreign policy created 9/11. As a history lesson for Dr. Paul, Islamic terrorism started as far back as the 60's, (or longer) and continued through the 70's,80's,and 90's.
We've have been politically manipulating most middle east countries since their inception or at least since the developement of their oil in an effort to secure a dedicated supply for ourselves. This is historical fact. This is the policy that ultimately generated the 9/11 attack. Not hatred for our freedoms.
If it is as you say, why isn't RP talking like Governor Huckabee in saying that energy independence has to be part of the problem?
It's interesting you don't seem to factor anti-semitism into the problem. But then again, maybe the Jewish homeland is part of the manipulation you mention?
If it is as you say, why isn't RP talking like Governor Huckabee in saying that energy independence has to be part of the solution? (not problem as mentioned above)

Give everyone the same thing on healthcare? Nice thought but it's just asking to eliminate the use of currency, and wearing red hats.
Make it cheaper yes!

"RON PAUL IS ON THE BALL"
Ron Paul is a propagandist for al-Queda. He scapegoats America for the actions of Islamic Fundamentalists. There's no excuse for this.

He wasn't given the opportunity. RP's is an advocate of developing our own resources and alternative energies.
The muslims issue with Israel is just that. Their issue. I think if we left Israel to their own devices, they'd do just fine.
