may i just ask why he has SS collar tabs and beltbuckle and Luftwaffe breasteagle and a Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger smock in Luftwaffe pattern 43? Demonstrational purpouses?
@JJswe93 It´s a Waffen SS fallschirmjaeger. They where formed late in the war and fought mainly in the east. So it's not for show. The man who made it is called G.Jansson and he is rather well known. Look at Missing lynx for example.
@JJswe93 it a Luftwaffe jumpsmock not intended for W-SS. Their fieldjacket (you can see the collar under the jumpsmock) had the traditionall runes, rank and eagle on the left arm.
If anyone need anything painted Im your man I repaint statues and also build and paint resin kits prices are very affordable email me for pics and details
olic1995: Do not understand correctly. The figure represents a german SS Fallschirmjaeger. Perhaps from 500 bataljon. What did you mean by brit para? Still it´s a german SS para.
By the way the figure I think comes from Warriors range and is in scale 1/9:th or 1/16, can´t remember. It was made by the Swedish artist G Johansson. Hope I got his name correct.
evany14: The figure represents an SS Fallschirmsjaeger. Late in the war SS set up some battalions for what I know the eastern front. So it is not fictional.
We would like to thank you for purchasing the DVD. Also, we want to let you know that five additional DVDs are coming out from this July to December 2008. Thanks!
I have a Napoleon and Wellington pewter chess set that I wish to have hand painted. I am really struggling to find an artist let alone approach one. Is there any help you can offer me or point me in a particular direction.
