I am watching this in Spain and was wondering whether someone could explain to me why this video shows 892 likes, 3 dislikes, 458 comments... yet only 301 views? Surely hits/views are updated the same way as likes/dislikes etc.? Or are the views strictly territorial ie. views in Spain only, as opposed to likes being global? @bozosaurus I've heard complaints here in the U.S. as well. Backend networks of computer systems the size of youtube are very complex. Different values can be updated at different times on different machines depending on load balancing, for example. I cannot explain the specific anomaly, which I believe is just that. Nothing nefarious. If youtube is conscientious, watch for a news brief on the subject. Keep watching in any case.

I just looked up neoliberalism on Wikipedia. The tenets are straight up conservative. If you are liberal and have seen the error of your ways, don't steal another group's doctrine as your own. I am watching this in Spain and was wondering whether someone could explain to me why this video shows 892 likes, 3 dislikes, 458 comments... yet only 301 views? Surely hits/views are updated the same way as likes/dislikes etc.? Or are the views strictly territorial ie. views in Spain only, as opposed to likes being global? Does a viewer in the US see a different views stat? If the view count is not refreshed immediately then is it scrutinized later? please explain, thanks!

@bozosaurus I've heard complaints here in the U.S. as well. Backend networks of computer systems the size of youtube are very complex. Different values can be updated at different times on different machines depending on load balancing, for example. I cannot explain the specific anomaly, which I believe is just that. Nothing nefarious. If youtube is conscientious, watch for a news brief on the subject. Keep watching in any case.

@Yunghott662 - no, you can't "rig" an election, everyone over the age of 18 just gets "one" vote, so no way anyone can cheat. you should work at a polling place sometime, you'll quickly learn everything is double, tripled checked for each person. then each party has "watchers" that stay all day so it's impossible to rig anything.
