Very little of Live8 was shown where I live so this is my first viewing of this... What is the fuss about?Everyone bagged it just coz it is Pete I think.. Pete had a terrible performance there. He sounds like a drunk on a karaoke machine. Petes a great lyricist, terrible singer, not particularly great on the guitar either.
He has written some good songs Ill give him that. The last Babyshambles album is class, still abit unconvinced about the first one. Maybe terrible singer is abit harsh, he has his own sound, and its geniune (unlike alot of these manufactured pop groups), but he doesnt have the same technical singing voice as someone like Thom Yorke or Matt Bellamy.
Ppl entertain with Elton John to look cool, like the contrast between cool rockerstar and gay legend Elton,,,, like Eminem did it and there must have been others
