@HalbinFtw I think Tony Todd (the black dude) is probably like a Grim Reaper or something. Because he always knows and is always there. One thing fans point out is that it seems when ever he gives advice, the people die even though they do exactly what he says. So like I said i think he is death or something close to it.

Also, they took an extra shot they did not use in the original film and then edited the back of the actors head onto the screen. Simple really when you look at it.

Sam and Molly got on the plane after Alex had the premonition of the plane explosion, but while they were being kicked off, Alex was still shouting in the 1st movie that the "fucking plane was going to explode!" now how in the world did Sam and Molly not hear that is the question b/c even when Carter and him were exchanging words, Alex still was screaming out the plane will explode. I think it's a mistake in this scene b/c they made it where they didn't hear anything at all

But what confuses me is that because Sam dies on the flight, does that mean Agent Block was supposed to originally die on flight 180, or was he supposed to just die and death's new design conveniently placed Sam on the plane?

As soon as I saw him get on the plane everything connected for me. The phone that dude had(the one that died in the massage place) was too old for 2011. Then it just hit me. The movie was connected to Final Destination 1 and it all unravelled in front of me and I was just shocked. I thought they were milking this series until I saw the end. The way they ended this franchise made me love this series.

@OmgVk64 And also I belive that the coaster crash scene would be much different like for example...in FD1 the engines to Flight 180 didn't burst into flames before the chaos began, here they did. In FD1 the crash seemed similar to TWA 800 which actually happened in real life. Here it seemed the cause of the explosion was an uncontained engine failure which flung flaming debris into the fuel tanks.

I did pick up the hints that it took place in the past...the cars using NY plates that hadn't been issued in decades, clunky-looking PCs running Windows 98, the 2001 expiration date on the coupon Isaac stole...but I didn't catch on that it was a prequel until they showed the plane.

@HellsHillHouseHorror Bludworth is probably referring to events that had happened long before this and the events of the first two FD movies. Maybe he's been around long enough to see that Death has been cheated far more times than just these occasions...:3 the possibilities are endless now.

At least, that's what Hollywood is hoping for. Very clever to do, but ultimately it won't be long before the series itself starts dry out creatively. I was surprised THIS one got such high regard.

@MarcusAvon2 it was showing how it all started. basically Sam started a chain reaction. in FD2 it hinted that the characters were suppose to die during FD1. but since the deaths in FD1 prevented that it made FD2. And im not shure about how it links to the rest. So in short form. They showed how it all started. Plus they were carefull about what to put in the film because of the timeset they had
