Strangely enough I was told that these same whales wouldn't come near you anywhere else in there migration. This area is highly monitored so the human mass can't harrass them. Our naturalist said in the 5 years she has been taking people out she has NEVER had such a encounter. The whales wanted to keep us there. A one hour adventure turned into two. We had to call another boat over to play with them so we could get back!
