I have a 100% stock 2SS and I'm getting the itch for a more pronounced exhaust note (disappointed at how quiet they were made stock). So you basically paid $150-250 for that X Pipe and thats it?? That sounds just as good as the Corsa and Borla that I was considering for $1180.00!

@nalincoln take out the resonators, replace the muffler with a new one, glasspack, flow, magnaflow, whatever you think sounds best. put bigger tips if theyll fit.

May I ask what made you decide to keep the stock resonators on?

I would have thought that you would have gotten more Air Flow with those removed and your Torq and HP Increased.

the ls3 resonators are straight through design, and they kinda act as a muffler

I have a Black 2SS LS3 on Order Myself, the Build Week is 1/11 : )

I've seen a Cutout of The Resonators on one of the Forums and the Resonators arent as Straight Through as you might think my friend, I just think that if you Cut Those Off It's Not Going To Make That Much Of a Difference in Sound as You Might Think But Sounding Better and a Huge Difference In Performance Plus Less Weight. You Want to try and get as much Torq as you can out of your LS3,... Just My Thought.

are you sure your talking about the LS3 and not the L99? The LS3 resonators are two bullit style ones, and yes , they make a differance in the sound. they take tha raspyness out of the exhaust sound. they cant weigh more than 2-3 lbs total

What Size Magnaflow Tru-X X-Pipe Did You Buy, Was It The 2.50 Inch or the 3 Inch Version?

no, it stil has the stock resonators and it is the 2.5" version
