You are a 5 star player. Do you know if a Hohner Tango VM Accordion would have a quality sounding Musette, close to this Morino VM. Reason is my wife just purchased a 1950 series, but have not gotten it yet?
Great Hohner sound. I have this same model. I bought it when I was 14 for $150 and I've been playing it for 35 years. Just had it retuned and fixed up this summer and of course it cost me more than I paid for it when I first bought it. (of course it was used then) but it's worth every penny. I haven't found one I like better. I prefer that "German" sound to "Italian" sound since I play waltzes, polkas, and schottisches.
excellent sound... but that is mussete tuning...U can t say this the best accordion....hohner made just a few acordions that were something...but soprani,borsini,guerrini dallape don t be stupid...they build accordions for specific type of music...various tunes...hohner alwys the same nothing special...THIS IS GOOD ACCORDION.THAT S ALL
You know, you don't have to get insulting by calling me stupid. This is a video where everyone has been making positive comments because they like the demonstration. If you're an expert on accordions then fine but you don't have to degrade people in the process. Perhaps you could go somewhere else, okay?
Stupid always used to call other stupid. Your hohner is very nice accordion even it is 50 years old. I hope I can get one if the reeds without much problem
It was a very nice instrument that I was selling for the owner on Ebay. That isn't me in the video but the owner who was doing this demonstration video for the auction. It had been really well taken care of over the years. Hopefully you'll be able to find one you like!
It's a beautiful machine and very well played. I really enjoyed your playing. I have two of this 127-bass model myself. They are easily the best accordion ever built. The keyboard is far superior to the Gola-style example used on the later VN models. I have one of those also but prefer the VM.

They just dont make good accordions in Italy. It took an italian designer and musical genius, Venancio Morino, working at the Hohner plant in Germany, to create a REAL accordion. His design has never been beaten, as you can see in this video.
@bigkahuna355 I disagree with your comment on preferring the Morino to the Gola. I have owned 2 Morino's and played several friends Gola's. The Morino is a very good accordion. The Gola far surpasses that by being an absolutely excellent instrument! Just my personal opinion.....> ERIK
