It does occur to you the reason Iraq is the mess it is right now because foreign fighters and terrorists moved into the country,and became more active,AFTER we took down Saddam. Also, on the subject of PTSD. Funny the spell check didn't even recognize the term. Soldiers with PTSD have it because they can't stop being soldiers. There is an easy way to solve problems in combat, and that is to kill. Soldiers with PTSD can't turn off their hyperactive mind. We can't stop feeling like we're in combat. We think of 5 ways to maim or otherwise disable every other person who comes into sight. I don't want your pity. I pity you if you ever cross me wrong.
In other words,you lack self control. My cousin came back from Iraq and he wasn't going on about how he had any trouble not killing people. PTSD only effects a fraction of soldiers. Know why? Cause most are able to grasp what death is and why it's not always the best solution to a problem. That not every situation requires a "kill or be killed" response.
I put it to you that maybe the real problem is is that you're a big jerk. And possibly a pussy. Grow some balls and learn how to control yourself,if you even have the problem you're talking about,which I doubt. Sounds more like something you heard in a poorly written movie.
Commonly people who don't understand something (like PTSD) tend to dismiss the facts. The fact is that I've seen and been diagnosed by a great psychiatrist. The fact is that the most severe cases of PTSD are never treated. Do in part because of their condition.
I know plenty about collateral damage,dipshit. But here's a pop quiz for you. A building has 15 terrorists. Each one is willing to give his life for his ill-defined cause,which means any or all of them may end up suicide bombers. Given the lowest body count for a successful bombing is about 5 people and a maximum of 50,that means this group of terrorists can potentially kill 750 people or a minimum 75.

Collateral damage means damage that was an unintended result of an attack. And any real soldier would know when you fire a tank shell at something,everything around it gets blown up too. Which is why you use tank rounds when you can't use more precise methods. That this is unknown to you proves you are NOT a soldier. Or maybe you're just fucking stupid. I mean,I drop a bomb on something,I pretty much accept the fact it's gonna fuck up a lot of area.
You would know NOTHING about collateral damage, besides the fact that it was a hit movie a few years ago. You keep right on raving about all the shit I should know. All the while you have nothing at all to validate your own bullshit. There are things that are real, and there are things you read in a book or see in a movie. You obviously have no real aspect of anything really real. You are telling me I don't know what death is? If you really want to hear about death I can tell you.
And YOU know nothing about morale. Guess what happens every time a soldier,supposedly from one of their own,sees this? It makes them doubt what they're doing. This internal conflict can cost a soldier seconds on the battlefield and that can cost them their lives! When someone is trying to kill you,the LAST thing you need on your mind is the morality of the conflict dragging you down!
Any soldier over there knows that A) blowing shit up takes considerably less time than building it and B) the only reason our troops would have for "tearing down a school" would be because someone was using it for something bad. I fail to see a point to destroying a building without a reason. It doesn't make sense and I doubt our military is blowing up schools "cause it's fun". It's tactically unsound. You might need that building for cover. And,ideally,teaching.
You obviously have never heard the term; collateral damage. When those tanks start firing the rounds don't care what they hit. When bombs fall on baghdad, they don't always kill insurgents. That is why hundreds of thousands of civilians have been killed in the course of this war. That is why city blocks are leveled. I know this because I saw it first hand. Don't talk to me about tact and reason. Tact and reason were dismissed the first time I was shot at.

The truth is that the vast majority of insurgents are not Iraqis. The majority of them went to Iraq after we got there. Our presence in Iraq is perpetuating the violence not helping. Collateral damage means damage that was an unintended result of an attack. And any real soldier would know when you fire a tank shell at something,everything around it gets blown up too. Which is why you use tank rounds when you can't use more precise methods. That this is unknown to you proves you are NOT a soldier. Or maybe you're just fucking stupid. Any soldier over there knows that A) blowing shit up takes considerably less time than building it and B) the only reason our troops would have for "tearing down a school" would be because someone was using it for something bad. I fail to see a point to destroying a building without a reason. It doesn't make sense and I doubt our military is blowing up schools "cause it's fun". It's tactically unsound. You might need that building for cover. And,ideally,teaching.

You obviously have never heard the term; collateral damage. When those tanks start firing the rounds don't care what they hit. When bombs fall on baghdad, they don't always kill insurgents. That is why hundreds of thousands of civilians have been killed in the course of this war. That is why city blocks are leveled. I know this because I saw it first hand.
