@lygongard1 IMO most gaming these days rely on online gaming and we rarely have any much games that has a story that really represents the game/series and actually putting fun in games where it matters.Like some the story was really short like cod 4 the story was short IMO and i didn't enjoy conviction that much the story was pretty decent but not that great.

@TheSilentXIII true games today do attend to have great stories most of em better than what hollywood comes up with and the stories r memorible at times the games today lost all flavor of just really imagintive work and humor like jak and daxter or crash bandicoot that type of game making is just gone IMO and the fact they are just barrowing elements of other games to make it there own is a fail IMO sometimes it works but mostly fails

@lygongard1 yes right now bethesda (gaming developers/company) are the best right now they are making real games that are actually fun like fallout 3 and skyrim i love the comany I miss the old days with gamecube,ps2,xbox,and pc,but we need to move on,but the only thing that gaming companies need to do is put effort on the story,quest,or mission.Make it interesting and longer to suck us into the game and add a little fun like an extra mode and online is good,but they need to put more effort

It's hard to imagine that those eyeballs were the hardest part of the game. But it was soooooooo satifying when you can become invisible with the mummy and bypass them. Loved the invisibility power, too back you had to die to use it. Pretty funny in the game, but way too oddly specific even for a video game.

I just began playing this tonight for the first time. I'm playing via the original Xbox with component cables hooked up to my 42" LCD and it looks quite nice. Of course, it isn't going to compete with PS3 or 360 graphics, but it still holds up rather well. The controls are very smooth and responsive, which cannot be said for many games of the last generation. There's nothing worse than a game that looks great but controls terribly. This is not one of those games. Really fun so far.

Heh this just screams retro. A game that apparently took inspiration from Egyptian mythology, has nice colorful graphics, looks to be a fun action adventure title, and is not another goddamn shooter.

I love this game to I had some good memories with it and lol the first game that my mom actually played. I just got god of war collection and it reminds me of sphinx because of the puzzles and the music but sphinx has far more puzzles then god of war.

2. Does it have day/night cycle?

3. Can you go anywhere anytime you want?

4. How Good is the storyline?

5. How long adventure are we talking about?

6. Is there stuff to collect and places to explore after storyline is complete?

2. no it dont have a cycle

3. you can go to Heliopolis and Abydos if you want

4. storyline is great

5. if you get all extras its takes a time ^^

6. yes you can catch monsters and bring them to the museum but after storyline you cant do something but start a new game

your example was zelda the windwaker? ^^ well between a game like sphinx and a game with sequels like zelda is a big difference ^^

This was one of the worst gaming experiences of my life, if only because I couldn't get past the first puzzle. All you have to do is talk to that monster - I don't see how I couldn't figure it out. I guess I thought he would kill me, so I was too big a pussy to approach him. Also, the controls probably felt wonky compared to Jak/Ratchet/Sly, so I didn't bother continuing. Maybe I should have.

I wrote to THQ a few years ago asking about a sequal and they said they weren't going to make one at that time. They have made sequals to other totally dumb games, tho. This is my favorite game of all time - I've played it over and over and over - and made a big book of notes for it. It takes controller skill to beat some enemies AND thought about the theories behind how to get through the levels. AWESOME GAME!

This is my FAVORITE PS2 game of all time - I typed a whole three ring binder of instructions on how to play it and I drew maps of various areas to go. It is a big huge instruction book...very helpful. It's the most fantastic game I've ever played.

It depends on what ps3 you have. if it's one of the older ps3's that can play ps2 games it MIGHT work. I am sure it will. but it will not work on my ps3 because it is newer and it can't play ps2 games.
