Ridaeon, although the book is always better, allow me to tell you that the movie is spectacular and entertaining. First, it is made by peter brook. He is a master of his art. Second, the music, the images, words, sounds, ideas, complicity, humor, all work together. I sincerely never seen such images and laughed more than i thought. It feels like a story, as it should be.

Honestly this is crap. The book is much funnier and more dramatic. Alot of these scenes should be filmed like comedy, thus providing some kind of alteration in the narrative rhythm. This is all the same plodding, slow and pretentious. Book is much better and this already feels long. Gurdjieff wanted people to be entertained.
