  • this guy is a mule

  • Where do I find an Adidas outfit like his?

  • what is the name of the music 0:32?

  • @TarragoLucas Die Toten Hosen - Pushed again (German punk band)

  • to get 3 30 for 2k is impossible

  • @gabrielevans999 I row in POL :)

  • this guys is huge

  • 2:02.5 is the minimum for 2ks with my coach :\

  • @Sinister596 yeah because 2.02.5 is the split which isnt a great time..

  • Felix Bach does 5:51 without Musik:D

  • wrong form

  • sets the record by himself? thats boss

  • @1000maxpower

    I'm 15 and i have PB 6.39, weighing 73kg. :))

  • @DamRew yeah right

  • @DamRew Haha we must be the same person! Who do you row for? In UK or US?

  • @DamRew you must be an animal on the erg to get that! D: Our J15 best time is like 7.20.....

  • The french record is 5.44.

  • erg is against the wall. In that way air keeps spinning inside and you get additional power. Now do it again pussy

  • @0Ojoost14O0 what a load of crap...

  • Just today had a competition of 2 kms, my time was 7:03 (don't laugh), I'm 14 years old(heigh: 182 weigh:64kg) is that a good result?

  • @1000maxpower for your age yes, for your height and weight you should try to get under the 7 minutes

  • @1000maxpower shit dude thats really good

  • @1000maxpower Yes that is awesome, When I was 14, I got 7.04 weighing 64kg but was 1.77cm

  • i would have thought a big guy like this would get much better 2km. Many Australians get in the 5:40's and they aren't as built as him

  • i'm 15 and my PR was when i was 14, a 6:42. really difficult, but you just gotta remember it's only 7 minutes long and push yourself mentally to keep up your intensity

  • Fantastico!!

  • Keep your heels down...

  • I'm 15 and got 6.56 our coach makes us rate 40 for our 2km It's Insane

  • @Aeyres1 than your coach is retarded

  • @afiguy123 We are on slides tho, sorry didnt mention it

  • @afiguy123 a lot of lightweights test at ratings that high. maybe not as retarded as you think...

  • What a fucking beast..

  • YES MORE ERG

  • Do you want a new video of this guy?

  • @erbse2006 yes some more erg videos please.

  • @erbse2006 yes but on water =)

  • i will do that some day, for now im just 15 but i do 1500 meters in 5:22 seconds

  • @warpboy1 I just turned 15, my birthday was in november, My 2k time is 6.56 I weigh 72kg and I can get around 5.10 I reckon

  • What drag factor has he chosen. Great power!

  • Great now I have to scroll through the comments to find gamefreak082

  • am i slow or something? i did 2000m yesterday in like 6 min...on level 10 at 24 houe fitness....lol im so confused

  • @2cvest Rowing is a lot about technique, and what happens on the erg doesn't really depict how well you are on water. And it also depends on your weight and what not to see how efficient you but other than that 6 minutes is pretty damn fast

  • @2cvest no you didnt

  • @afiguy123 i swear! lol..but maybe the machines are different?...ive done 1800 meters in 6 minutes before...thats why i was so congused watching this lol...

  • @2cvest 6 minutes is the time of a heavyweight, ivy league collegiate rower.

  • @2cvest 6 min was probably your average 500m time

  • @2cvest yeah, :/ to be a rower you have to be able to get around a 3 30 2k to be considered 'good'

    ...while drunk...and eating fried chicken..

  • @FlyFoxSlyStyle and @2cvest

i think you mean as a rower u have to be able to get around 3:30 at a distance of 1k....not 2k...3 30 at 2k is just impossible...

  • @TheLetista1 impossible with that attitude, maybe ;D

  • @FlyFoxSlyStyle *sobs*

  • Nice work! Not to criticise someone who pulls a faster 2k than me, but it seems to me as if the back opened up rather early on the drive, and he's pulling himself forward using the footstraps quite a lot. Therefore, just wondering - do you (does he) row on the water as well?

  • Siiiiiiiiiiiiick.

  • Felix Bach.

  • Holy shit.

  • What is his damper setting (1-10)?

  • @nebukanezer73 10 is the best for fast times imo

  • damn look at those legs!

  • this guy's form is flawless

    i'm surprised

  • pff guy at my rowing club wll send him home crying for his mommy

  • that like 513 watt avg. What a beast

  • Damn man! My best time for 2000m was like 7:35...

  • I have a few things to say. To all of you kayakers, us rowers realize that its hard. It requires a lot of strength and endurance. But you don't seem to realize that in rowing, you need both of those things, plus extreme flexibility, body control, and balance. Anyways, where is the passion in kayaking. When you win a race, you did it yourself. In rowing, when you win a race you, the coxswain, and 7 other guys worked together to achieve the victory. Rowing is much more intense, and more rewarding.

  • He barely pushes himself!!

  • what a fucking beast

  • Anyone know what song is played in the backround when he starts the 2k?

  • @0p3nureyez rammstein

  • That dude is a tank!

  • What was the ressistance level that you were on?

  • All those jerky head movement... That's gonna lead to injury surely? Or am I a noob?

  • @TheWeirdF it is a jerky head movement yes, but honestly the guy who stroked the canadian gold medal 8+ in bejing had worse than that and he has a gold medal! Basically if your a beast you can do what you want (to a certain extent).

  • Zu DTH könnte ich auch geil fahren...

  • so u just did a 2k for fun? lol

  • gota love rammenstein

  • @maskizles2 it isn't rammstein xD

  • @maskizles2 Ups second song sorry :P

  • wow thats so amazing what do you do to train for something like that email me your diet plan end your work outs man! i know im going to have to modify them your a beast haha! elijahpalmer@ymail.com

  • 5:52.3 - it's the best result in country?!

  • @szatanizacja I said on rate 28... he could go way faster.

  • @Veslanjejezivot where is something about 28? Now I tried to find info about this and nothing...

  • whats the music?

  • What a monster!

  • Holy shit this guy is the definition of BEAST MODE !!!

  • It's amazing that Damir Martin, the 3 seat from Croatian M4X did 5:52 on rate 28... powerhouse.

  • The 2K erg is probably the most demanding test of human physiology available. That time is incredible. 1:27 is my single stroke max - so to average that for 2K is just awe inspiring

  • that's serioulsy fast What a monster!

  • For all you Rowers: just watch the famous video "stop rowing"^^. Then you see now and forever, its just the wrong direktion :D So - look forward, be a flatwaterracer by kayak!!!!

  • my coach does 5:59. well done mate!!

  • 5:52 wow..

  • kayaking is for pussdicks; rowing is a discepline

  • jesus his quads are huge.

  • Obviously a kayaker can't beat a rower in a rowing boat like a rower can't beat a kayaker in a k1.

But I'm a kayaker and I learned to row a rowing racing boat at a race pace in one day...often a rower simply falls into water if he try a racing kayak...I've seen many.

Kayak and rowing are both olimpic sports, that means top level.

I thing kayakers are more eclectic, that's my opinion (supported by experience).

    That's all.

    Good training everybody.

  • @Baitooo yeah i reckon rowing is better all round, kayaking just gives beast upper body, i kno both, and i'v tried both, and they're both hard, trust me, i'm a gymnast

  • @50asian50white

    Im a penis.

  • Impressive, but the important thing is to go fast in a real boat...

    Anyway...

Kayaking is a superior sport: we don't clash everywere 'cause we can see where we're going...

  • @Baitooo kayaking is all about upperbody. When a kayaker can get in a rowing boat and go faster than a world class rower, then i will give them credit lol kayaking is in no way a superior sport to rowing. Sorry to burst your bubble, but someone had to say it. I'm not saying that kayaking is easy though, i've kayaked and its not easy.

  • Kayaking is where the real men are..

  • This guy is huge! He's barely leaning forward and he's at the front of the erg. I am very, very impressed.

  • kayakers are beats check out tim brabants..

  • damn hes built like a brick shit house

  • how old is this guy? he is so powerful and steady

  • Ignore the kayak freaks!!! They couldn't row a 5:52 even if their life depended on it!!! Good job dude!!!! Probably only a handful of people in the world that can row that fast.excellent technique!!!what stroke rate is that??what kind of times are you pulling in 5K and 10K?? 10K hardest one mentally for me

  • what workouts do you do to get you in shape for 2k's? sprints or just consecutive 2k pieces

  • @TheGrimshade2 long pieces. mostly 20 mins + then some speed work like 9 500's.. each 500 should be a part of the race, first 500, the second piece shold be like the middle 1k jsut nice and steady, adn the final piece should be the last 500 of a race, so its like breaking down the race 3 times.

  • @TheGrimshade2 20 mins + means pieces btw, for long work you want an hour minimum, in total for a session

  • The gym looks familiar :)

  • @gamerfreak082 ha gay :') rowing for the world mate

  • @gamerfreak082 enjoy paddling your cheap plastic shell. We'll stick to the real sport of rowing.

  • @gamerfreak082 kayaking is the dance of water racing, for chicken legged girls.

  • @thomas3690 lol obviously youve never kayaked in an actual sprint kayak race. we use our legs almost as much as rowers do.

  • @trevdog110

    Lol right...

Use your one leg to stand in the kaykak right?

  • @darkboy456 what are you talking about?? look up adam vankoeverden or sprint kayaking or even look at this guys other videos, that type of kayaking. im not talking about leisure paddling, ive done both rowing and kayaking and can say that sprint kayak is just as hard if not harder. and we sure as hell use our legs.

  • @trevdog110 obviously you've never rowed. rowing if done properly uses mostly your legs; whereas kayaking in a sprint requires mostly abdominal strength. I race both. stick that in your juice box and suck it!

  • @Omar77779 ok maybe kayaking you dont rely mainly on legs as you do in rowing but you do pump your legs down to rotate your hips in kayaking. its not all upper body. and yes i used to row then switched to kayaking cause i wanted to see where i was going.

  • @gamerfreak082 Last time I checked, the ancient Romans used rowers to conquer the world, not bitch legged kayakers.

  • @MsInformed01 But in canada the natives would use kayaks to hunt so there in your country rowing is important and in Canada kayaking is imporatant to us.
