PS3 has too much brightness and the x360 has darker colours, the whitness gives u detail and easyness to see but the dark colours make the display too sharp
Does it really matter to you guys whether which system is dominate over the other? So PS3 has Uncharted, Infamous and other games, 360 has Halo, Gears of War, Left 4 Dead, and other games. Can't we just enjoy the systems for what they are without bragging over which system is better over the other, Because PS3 has Blu-Ray, or that Xbox have Xbox Live? This is getting a little ridiculous.

wow thats rare, its ported from the 360 and looks better most developers just cut out things, like background textures and some of the shading for a port since the game isnt built around the hardware. though this could explain the huge time difference from the xbox version and ps3 version, they did a good job adapting the game to suit the ps3. i loved oblivion, and on the ps3 the lighting was perfect, i even squint my eyes when i leave a dungeon or something (reflex and hdtv)

I own both, always will - f@%k the Wii. PS3 has some impressive exclusives, some are stunning. The X360 controller is stunning. So, I buy exclusives for the PS3 and everything else is X360. I use the PS3 to drive the home theater. The unreliability of the 360 is pathetic, but the fact that I look forward to the X360 Valhalla revision and will buy one with a quickness is also a little pathetic. For now, I believe it makes perfect sense to split the workload between the two. F@%k the Wii.

Ps3 always gets the better quality games because they release it later giving them more to polish the ps3 version up a bit. Bioshock, Oblivion, The Orange Box, and pretty much all of those games released on ps3 after 360.
But the PS3 version of the Orange Box is terrible. Framerate issues and no patches whatsoever. At least the 360 got SOME patches. Oblivion seems the same except the two have different bugs and the PS3 doesn't have any plug-ins except KotN.
If you think the ps3 version of TOB is terrible then you think the same about the 360 version. They do have patches for the ps3 version and thats why the ps3 verison runs great now. No different from the 360 version. And Oblivion is alot better on ps3. The draw distance is bad compared to the ps3 version. Might want to do a bit more reseach on games.
You're right, they're both terrible. The PC version is the only version of TOB worth playing.
I've played the PS3 version of Oblivion as well as the 360 and PC versions. I can safely say that the PC version is the best, with the 360 in second. I'm not really a graphics whore so the PS3 version has few redeeming qualities for me.
All of them are the same IMO. Are people playing the PC version getting any more intertainment then people playing the console versions? Nope so its the same.

Xbox does'nt use just a dvd. they use a Dual layer.
Ps3 uses blue ray, but they dont have a compression method, so they need more space. it doesn't matter that much

2. bigger games don't always mean better graphics
3. both consoles are capable of 1080p AND 1080i
4. dvd-rom tech has way more usage than BR tech, so some dvd games WILL look better

wow thats rare, its ported from the 360 and looks better most developers just cut out things, like background textures and some of the shading for a port since the game isnt built around the hardware. though this could explain the huge time difference from the xbox version and ps3 version, they did a good job adapting the game to suit the ps3. i loved oblivion, and on the ps3 the lighting was perfect, i even squint my eyes when i leave a dungeon or something (reflex and hdtv)

I own both, always will - f@%k the Wii. PS3 has some impressive exclusives, some are stunning. The X360 controller is stunning. So, I buy exclusives for the PS3 and everything else is X360. I use the PS3 to drive the home theater. The unreliability of the 360 is pathetic, but the fact that I look forward to the X360 Valhalla revision and will buy one with a quickness is also a little pathetic. For now, I believe it makes perfect sense to split the workload between the two. F@%k the Wii.

Ps3 always gets the better quality games because they release it later giving them more to polish the ps3 version up a bit. Bioshock, Oblivion, The Orange Box, and pretty much all of those games released on ps3 after 360.

But the PS3 version of the Orange Box is terrible. Framerate issues and no patches whatsoever. At least the 360 got SOME patches. Oblivion seems the same except the two have different bugs and the PS3 doesn't have any plug-ins except KotN.

If you think the ps3 version of TOB is terrible then you think the same about the 360 version. They do have patches for the ps3 version and thats why the ps3 verison runs great now. No different from the 360 version. And Oblivion is alot better on ps3. The draw distance is bad compared to the ps3 version. Might want to do a bit more reseach on games.

You're right, they're both terrible. The PC version is the only version of TOB worth playing.
I've played the PS3 version of Oblivion as well as the 360 and PC versions. I can safely say that the PC version is the best, with the 360 in second. I'm not really a graphics whore so the PS3 version has few redeeming qualities for me.
