@the55wagster seriously? watch it again and some of my other vids while your at it, its had a spool since day one. limited slips are for people afraid to drive the real deal. the 327 that was in there at the time made high end power resulting in very low tire rpm early in burnouts.

@blt4speed What have you got against LSDs? OK, so an open diff is looser and more challenging to drive into corners but what about the extra power on the exit of a corner with and LSD of a Power greater than 0%; this can cause snap oversteer if high enough, surely people should be afraid of that!

I'm not having a go, I just wanted to know what's wrong with an LSD as I intend to get an aftermarket one myself someday...

@Astrosisphere an open diff is a one wheel peel, like every other car. made that way to drive around corners. i personally dont like lsd's because they rob power. i run a spool where both wheels are locked at all times. funner in corners if your an experienced driver and deliver 100% of the power at all times.

Cool car. Manual steering, what about the brakes? Are they manual too? I wouldn't mind owning a vintage gasser oneday but I'd want power steering and brakes. Makes it easier to kill ricers on the street that way.

when this vid was filmed it had manual everything, but only had a 337 .040 over with maby 350 hp if lucky. but i did run 12.00 with manual brakes. car now has alot bigger engine and over 500 hp. straight axle with manual steering and power brakes with a 7" booster under the floor and runs in the 11.7-11.8 range @ over 114 mph
