  • end medicare, medicaid, social security, and all forms of welfare (including corporate welfare). seriously, what the fuck is anyone gonna do about it? why are productive people being held hostage by greedy geezers and lazy bums? we don't owe them anything. medicare is so far from solvent it isn't even funny. do seniors care? no. they feel entitled to your money. we DO need death panels in this country.

  • Just a bunch of lies to make the most conservative voters (seniors) vote Democrat.

  • go to rebuild the dream dot com to fight the right wing lies and take America back from these common thieves and criminals.

  • The ryan MediGUT plan hands outs more tax cuts for the rich and pushes the burden on the taxpayer by handing them worthless vouchers to benefit their cronies in the insurance industry to do with you what they will. it will wind up costing Medicare recipients at least $15,000 more per year. If you're 55 and younger, forget about it. They are soft selling MediGUT it by calling it "a Cadillac Plan" and they are "saving it". The ENTIRE Republican Congress voted to GUT Medicare.

  • What Health Care Reform did for Medicare according to the AMA. It does NOT cut Medicare benefits; it increases them. All original benefits remain intact with added benefits. Seniors now receive free annual health care checkups (no deductibles and no co-pays), and drug benefits are improved. The law closes the bush (pharma giveaway) “donut hole” for drugs.

  • Ryan's MediGUT Plan Produces Far Less Real Deficit Cutting than Reported.

His plan consists of $4.3 Trillion in Program Cuts, Offset by $4.2 Trillion in TAX CUTS, Yield Just $155 Billion in Deficit Reduction. Ryan is fudging the numbers. source: Center on budget and polices.

  • The "dr. fix" was taken out of the Obama care plan in order to LIE and say that Obamacare was deficit neutral.

    washingtonexaminer DOT com/blogs/beltway-confidential/quotdoc-fixquot-dems039-health-plan-would-increase-deficit-59-billion

  • "This budget fixes the Medicare physician payment formula for the next ten years so that Medicare beneficiaries continue to have access to health care. It provides for a reimbursement system that fairly compensates physicians who treat Medicare beneficiaries while providing incentives to improve quality and efficiency."

again, DIRECTLY quoted from the plan - this is referring to the money that the Democrats REMOVED from Obamacare that pays doctors who take medicare recipients - the "Dr. Fix"

  • The Ryan plan in it's entirety.

    budget.house.gov/UploadedFiles/PathToProsperityFY2012.pdf

    Some excerpts:

"This budget ENDS THE RAID on the Medicare trust fund that began with passage of the new health care law last year. It ensures that any potential savings in current law go to shore up Medicare, not to pay for new entitlements."

    *caps were mine

    Obamacare STOLE money from medicare

  • ToddAldrich, quit lying. The $500 million is waste and fraud. RyanNoCare keeps that reduction in place as well. Get your facts straight. The Republican Plan is to decimate Medicare. It will end us costing seniors up to $20,000 extra yearly.

  • @conchf How about you show me exactly what "waste and fraud" was specifically targeted. If it was REAL you should be able to show me WHERE - IN THE BILL, that it spells out the waste and fraud that was to be eliminated.

Of course you cannot, because it does not - it was merely a ploy to trick the gullible and the stupid.

    Congratulations, you qualified.

  • @ToddAldrich This is delicious that the cons are doubling down on the Medicare issue. The MAJORITY of Americans have said HANDS OFF. Paul Ryan is the 3rd most hated Teapublican by Americans because of the MediGUT vote, LOL. Get over it, this is not a dictatorship America has spoken. It does not cut Medicare benefits; it increases them. All original benefits remain intact with added benefits.

  • @ToddAldrich Seniors can now receive free annual health care checkups (no deductibles and no co-pays), and drug benefits are improved. The law closes the “donut hole” coverage gap for drugs.

The $500 billion figure is actually the projected savings achieved through reduced growth of future spending on Medicare over the next 10 years; the law does not cut $500 billion from the current Medicare budget, and there are no cuts to guaranteed Medicare benefits. Quit lying, Americans have spoken.

  • @conchf Americans have indeed spoken and they threw out the Democrats for forcing this kind of crap down our throats. 2012 will mean the Senate AND the Presidency go Republican.

  • @ToddAldrich Actually Americans are siding with the Dems on the issue. They have said no to the teapublicans forcing Medigut on America. Dream all you want, doesn't make it so.

  • @conchf Then you should be able to show me the exact cuts to fraud - come on. YOU are the one making the claim - show me.

  • @ToddAldrich can't you read? It does not cut benefits, it increases them. BTW, Ryan's MediGUT keeps that $500 billion in place except it hands over Medicare money to for PROFIT insurance companies. MediGUT will cost the average America $15,000 to $20,000 MORE. Go ahead, double down, LOL!

  • @conchf Can't you read? I asked you to show me where in the Democrat's plan it says specifically what waste was cut - and you STILL have not come up with an answer. Ryan's plan will NOT cost the average American a DIME more. It is indexed for inflation - your guys simply are lying. Read the plan.

You also act as if a for profit company that MUST compete with other companies to offer better service and value is a bad thing. I'll take that over a bureaucratic govt. monopoly ANY DAY.

  • @ToddAldrich Yes, MediGUT will cost Medicare recipients at least $15,000 MORE under MediGUT. The MAJORITY of Americans do NOT want Medicare handed over to for PROFIT insurance companies. We love and care about our Mothers, Fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, children, grandchildren and even those we don't know. Cons counted on Americans wanting to sell their sisters and brothers down the river like they would. We're not interested. Double down all you want, America has spoken.

  • @conchf The Ryan plan RETURNS $500 million to Medicare AND guarantees NO CHANGES WHATSOEVER for those 55 and older.

For the rest of us, we get to choose between private options - EXACTLY like congress can now. The money for these policies is indexed for inflation.

Those are simply the facts that can be found IN THE PLAN, the Democrats don't want you to read it. I wonder why? They want you to remain ignorant so they can continue to manipulate you with their scare tactics.

  • @ToddAldrich No it does NOT return $500 million to Medicare. It will cost the average American at least $15,000 more. It hands over Medicare money to FOR PROFIT insurance, the MAJORITY of Americans have said no. This is not a dictatorship, get over it. America has rejected it, they like Medicare not MediGUT. What the CONS don't understand is that we love our people under 55 and are not willing to sell them out like the selfish cons are. So sad for you.

  • @conchf Until you learn what the fuck you are talking about, shut the fuck up. I have quoted directly from the bill.

    YOU are a liar.

  • @ToddAldrich LOL, Freedom of speech baby. You authoritarian dictator liars would love it if America shut up. We have spoken, no MediGUT. HANDS OFF MEDICARE.

  • @conchf Yeah, that idiot aldrich (all the rich) apparently believes and lives the big lie theory. Say something often enough and loud enough and drown out the truth and it will become the truth.

I find it hilarious how he tries to put himself in the role of some sort authority because he is the official human toilet for the Koch machine and is responsible for ensuring their shit never touches water.

Between his official licking duties he comes here to lie. LOL

  • @MisterJohnMorales If you haven't already, check out on youtube: Will you help Senator Sanders expose the Koch Echo Chamber?

  • @MisterJohnMorales And yet I am the ONLY one here quoting from the actual bill.

You obviously have something to hide because you refuse to deal with the actual bill, instead relying on smear attempts.

  • good on you Rayn fuck the elderly

  • Thanks to liberal policies America can no longer afford to pay for medicare, social security, unemployment and many other services. We also need to lower the minimum wage to $2/hr in order to compete with China and bring jobs back home. Fiscally responsible conservatives like Paul Ryan and John Boehner know this and are currently

working to end these wasteful handout programs and bring the minimum wage down so that America can be great again. God bless the GOP!

  • Medicare as we know it is GONE - with our without the Ryan plan.

WITH the Ryan plan People get the SAME type of coverage that CONGRESS gets.

That is a GOOD thing, but the liars on the left use this type of crap to scare people.

The left is nothing but worthless pieces of shit that are CONDEMNING our elderly to poverty and taking away their health care.

After all, it was the DEMOCRATS who stole $500, million from Medicare in order to pass Obamacare.

  • @ToddAldrich --Medicare as we know it is GONE - with our without the Ryan plan.--

says who? the same people that were wrong about WMD in Iraq, wrong about tax cuts paying for themselves and those who failed to predict the econmic crash of 2008? Why should we trust them now?

Of couse they're untrustworthy, which is why you'll resort to lies and petty insults.

  • @cennon Tax cuts DID pay for themselves - which is not to say ALL tax cuts do, but the Bush cuts DID - overall.

The people who promote the Ryan plan WERE warning about the crash - and the REASON for the crash, YOUR side shut them down. youtube.com/watch?v=_MGT_cSi7Rs

You simply have not been paying attention to people who were telling you the truth. You have been listening to liars and those who ARE responsible. Watch the video above - and open your eyes.

  • @ToddAldrich No they did not. And it was spitzer that was warning about the crash. One of the requirements of belonging to the Teapublican party is to be a liar to others and oneself. It just makes YOU a liar all the way around.

  • @conchf I just posted the proof. Republicans warning about the issue and the Democrats screaming bloody murder that the Republicans DARE regulate the GSE's.

  • @ToddAldrich LOL, we all know how much Republicans love regulation. You guys spin like a top.

  • @conchf Your ignorance of the facts does not mean you are correct. The Republicans were trying to reign in the GSE's that were largely responsible for the 2008 crash - WAY back in 2001. I posted video proof of the committee meetings that showed the result of the investigation - and the FACT that the Democrats were blocking the reform.

You are nothing but a liar.

  • @ToddAldrich Wow, the spinning and lying one has to do to be a con. No, Democrats did not block them. YOU are the liar. Cons fight regulation all the time because they love lazy government. You fool no one.

  • @cennon There is no reason to throw insults, petty or otherwise - UNLESS you continue to ignore or try and hide the truth. If however, you are honest and truly interested in fact and truth, I have no reason to insult you.

  • @cennon Don't trust this guy. He's probably a Ryan staffer. He's always on the Ryan videos trying to sway people that gutting Medicare is "saving it" and that it's a "Cadillac Plan". It is not. The wolves are holding seminars to "soft sell" Medigut to the public, it's not working. The majority of Americans have said hands off. Ryans poll numbers are in the tank, the majority of Americans h8 him (he's 3rd most h8ted Teapublican). Have a nice day.

  • New video out on Medicare! Search in youtube for “When My Grandkid Gets Old...” to find out what our grandparents think about ending Medicare.

  • @losalkeeper Except NO ONE Is ending Medicare, we are simply going to get the SAME plan that congress has.

You know those CADILLAC plans .

  • gamble180 why would I believe it? Because you say so? You can believe what you wish, but to expect others to take your word when you don't bother to prove it - what a joke.

In any case, lets assume that happened - exactly how does that make ryan's plan better?

  • @MisterJohnMorales You don't have to believe what he said, you can check it out. Obama stole $500 million from Medicare and Ryan proposed putting that money BACK into medicare - AND not change a THING for those currently on medicare. For those who are younger? WE get the SAME type plan that CONGRESS GETS.

PLEASE check out the facts, the Democrats are LYING to us.

  • @ToddAldrich You are out and out lying or you are truly stupid if you believe that. Under President Obama's health plan, the money is incorporated into the INCREASED benefits those on Medicare AND people in general will receive.

And just who lied to you and said Americans will get the same coverage as members of congress? It would BE MUCH more expensive, and not save the money Ryan claims his plan will save. Yet you actually think that's in their plan wow talk about dumb.

  • @MisterJohnMorales I would suggest you actually look at the bill before you open your pie-hole.

    aamc.org/download/161170/data/crs_time_line_nov_three.pdf

Obamacare TOOK $500 million from medicare. That is not opinion it is FACT and it is in the law.

How about you show me the DIFFERENCES between Ryan's plan and what congress has?

When you give up finding significant differences, I will graciously accept your apology.

  • @MisterJohnMorales I noticed that you failed to show where I was in any way wrong. I will accept your apology now.

  • @ToddAldrich Disprove what - your link is BLANK. Stupid is as stupid does, and giving a dead link to prove your points is exactly that.

I'm not going to waste my time disproving your LIES. LOL

Obama and the 500mil. It consists of the PROMISE OF PROFIT the Republicans made to the ins. cos. to handle Medicare Part D.

The law eliminates that and it totals $500million and uses it to pay for the reform.

Ryans cuts are in the MULTI-BILLIONS the fact you conflate the two shows astounding stupidity.

  • @MisterJohnMorales Thank you. This Ryan clown (staffer?) is busy selling MediGUT as "saving it" and telling people it's a "Cadillac Plan". It's nothing more than a worthless voucher plan that hands even more money and power to the insurance companies. He thinks people are stupid.

  • Personal attacks? So nothing of substance to add? Don't worry, I'm not a pathetic drain on society, so I'll take care of me and mine. We'll have our own insurance. I figure paying for myself and my own family is enough, you can pay yourself and yours.

  • Paul Ryan doesn't look like a 'nice young man'. Paul Ryan looks like an a-hole. Acts like one too.

  • THE REPUBLICON SMOKE IS DISSIPATING AND THEIR MIRRORS ARE CRACKING!!!!! THE JIG IS ALMOST UP YOU FOOLS!!!! THE MORE YOU ACT, THE WORSE IT GETS! You're actually making it rather easy for us lefties... HAAAA

  • Oh look, another bunch of liars. Why not READ the proposal instead of letting others think for you?

  • Americans United For CHANGE....lobbing to keep the same fuqed system in place that we've had for decades.

  • @gamble180 first learn how to spell... then learn about politics...step by tiny step (I know it's not easy for you)... then grow old and get sick without health care... and THEN come back with an opinion. mm'k?

  • Maybe the liberals could squeeze a few more stereotypes into their next political ad? This 'they wanna take medicine from Grandma crap' is pathetic. If your over 55, Medicare will not change. If you under 55, then take some fricken responsibility for yourself.

  • Comment removed

  • This ad was very well done. Thanks!!!

  • Teapublicans - saving Democracy by destroying it.

  • one can only hope they finally change it to a federal single payer system.

  • And they STILL want to do it. Under his personal plan, the one he issued before he made concessions because people noticed all the flaws and he changed it suddenly, he wanted to force private insurance vouchers on the elderly, remove the anti-pre-existing condition protection signed into law by obama. The elderly would buy insurance, unless of course there was a pre-existing condition, which then would drop them from every insurance in america including cobra.

  • @blakebgober no it wouldn't it would remove the protections from insurance companies dropping seniors over pre-existing conditions and sudden high hospital bills in emergencies, when the seniors tried to get another insurance after being dropped it would have allowed insurance companies to deny them thus forcing all sick seniors out of the insurance market altogether and having to use the emergency rooms only. did you actually READ his document? he can't misquote himself.

  • Could they have found a more annoying voice for narrator?

A good message, otherwise. I hope we hear more ads exposing the absurdity and potential devastation of dismantling Medicare.

  • Much better. That old guy as stripper to pay bills one was way too cute to be effective. not crazy about the music here. what's so hard about finding scary strings? they're all free on the web. Lady doesn't sound as old as she could though.

Better than the DNC stuff for sure though.

Just make these spots scary/alarmist enough to match what's actually happening and they might have some impact.

  • As the rest of the civilized world has turned to various forms of healthcare that are socialized (ahem, a four letter word to extreme right capitalists … “Where's the money in that?”), the Tea Party driven Republican solution for seniors is to FEED THEM TO THE INSURANCE WOLVES.

As long as someone is making money off of people being sick, and people will pay anything to be well, healthcare will fail to be affordable.

  • Watching History Channel now, documentary: Third Reich how Hitler & the Nazi Party took control of Germany with complete impunity. Interestingly, I do see certain parallels happening now. I really think Americans should take a closer look at The Tea Party, and the legal thievery going on now by speculators and Wall Street. Our economy and democracy is being decimated before our very eyes. We must not let this go on!

  • We need medicare as it is now, not to change it. Seniors need to have all their medical bills paid. Many hardly have enough money to live on now. If the Ryan plan were enacted, Seniors would have to pay thousands more. We would go broke. But Ryan doesn't care about us. He cares only about the insurance companies he really represents.

  • When do you suppose people will wake up to realize the Republican Party is working full time against their own best interests?

It had better be soon because the Democratic Party becomes more like the Republicans every day. If we are to salvage our nation it has to start now.

There is no greater crisis than the full time 24/7 right wing media that controls the thoughts of millions. Years ago, when I was child, there was real 'News'. Now it is pure fabrication.

  • The two types of people who vote for Republicans: Billionaires and idiots.

  • @Stephanjnj I wonder would Bill gates,Warren buffet,George Soros agree with your stupid comment?

  • Republicans - saving medicare by destroying it.

  • @MisterJohnMorales didn't president Obama just siphon 500 billion dollars off of Medicare last year? Wow, you liberals have a short memory.

  • @gamble180 Geez, what a nonsense confabulation. I'm sure you believe it, because it agrees with what you think is happening. If you bothered to pay attn. you'd realize nothing like you imply happened. Furthermore, there is NO similarity in anything being done with medicare today with the wholesale evisceration of the system Ryan's plan offers as reform.

Ryan's plan sucks, and trying to justify it by claiming President Obama dis something unrelated that you don't like is silly.

  • @MisterJohnMorales So you didn't do your homework and blindly support Obama's legislation? You better beleive he raided 500 billion from medicare. I don't really care though, i don't expect anyone to take the hit on account of me, that's called being a decent human being. So I'll make sure I'm covered at my own expense, the same for my kids. My wife has her own coverage as well, she is also a decent human being who produces and adds to society instead of eating on the back of someone else.

  • @MisterJohnMorales BO took $500 billion out of medicare to fund Obamacare & Paul Ryan's plan repeal's that so actually Paul Ryan's plan adds $500 billion to medicare funds.

  • PolitiFact acknowledges GOP proposal would end Medicare 'as we know it'
