when me and my brother were little kids, i remember my brother stuffed his hear with a small rock and he laughed when it didn't come out, but in the end he had to get surgery for it. My dad was very mad at him.

Mom drove me to hospital.

Before we left the drive way she doused pepper all over my clothes.

Halfway to hospital I sneezed it out.

Teddy was not so lucky. I think he was given a early, unceremonious burial.

The lad probably has a habit of sticking all sorts in his ears and the last thing he could remember was the pencil. When I was younger, I once had to go to the hospital to have a piece of sponge from a pillow removed from my nose. Apparently it had gotten lodged up there when I was sleeping. But I wouldn't be surprised if I had stuffed it up there myself. The odd things children do.
