I'm reading the comments. Everybody's saying how this song helped them, but I feel the opposite.
I hear it as being the voices of people who tell you everything's okay and expect you to beleive it, as if saying that everything's fine, makes it fine, you know? When people just don't understand what you're thinking.
Changed me' mind. I like the shimmering effect now. What a ficklke creature I am. It's just that listening through headphones it keeps travelling through your brain from one ear to the other and makes your head swim ....
Okay, I'm listening to this out of extreme necessity after having messed up really badly over something....that kind of necessity where I was afraid my fingers didn't catch fire from the frantic, world-record typing I did in the search box.
And hearing this song, reading the lyrics (thanks, DarkAngelWings667!) is helping SO much. Thank you so incredibly much, Hannah Fury, for being there in spirit and helping soothe me when little else could.
Sounds like Neo Victorian Music? What -as in everyone gathered round piano in parlour or does it mean gloomily gothic or 'post' gothic? Neo-Victorian Music is about most meaningless label i've ever heard. What ever it means this is certainly not it. For a start I dont think they had phase lagging in those days (which is what is leading your ears on a merry song and a dance in this one). Lovely Hannahesque song but shimmering effects are not quite working and are a little trying on the ears
so beautiful... it is Neo-Vectorian classic music ??? i hear first time it, why is neo ??? so beautiful song, better than depressive or ambient metal....so calme..
Neo Victorian means that the music sounds like Victorian music, but it is written and produced after the Victorian era (19th century). But I dont know if this is neo Victorian actually. Sure, she has some Victorian themes and she may be influenced by the era just like Emilie Autumn, but that doesn't mean they're "neo Victorian".

neo cause it is quite after it's time, being that classical music was hip so many years ago.

This made me cry, it's so comforting to hear this when I'm in a situation where all I feel like I can do is be sad and afraid.
