  • I was there on 06-07. I now have breathing problems from being in those burn pits. I was in that particular one they would burn anything and everything in it and would not have any kind of mask to protect you. We all complained and it went ignored. I was fine before running 10 miles a day to using all different kinds of inhalers now. Shortness in breath after climbing 1 flight stairs. Army didn't do anything for me said it wasn't from Iraq , but how do you go from being active all sports to bre

  • So many soldiers & contractors working in these locations (this includes much more than Iraq and Afghan) have lost their lives, or are dealing with a progressive disease from the burn pits, as I am myself. I was a contractor supporting the military. I did not have experimental vaccines or use depleted uranium rounds. I worked in an office environment, where the black smoke blew through our air conditioning units every day. Don't deny the truth.. It's time to take action! Thank you Jill! -Cass

  • Thank you Jill for your courageous acts to not only inform us of the risks, but create the attention with the people who have had the ability to fix this very fixable situation!
