I have Tim's "The Best Of" CD as well as "Read My Lips", "Simplicity" and "Fearless" albums on vinyl.

I saw him perform at The Academy of Music (NYC) with opening act The A's back in 79. GREAT show.

I loved this album? Well it was when I bought in 197?1983,1992 And I can't find it anymore...My Dad passed away this summer but he had a cool voice and would do this song to make us laugh,,Hey Deva remember when we caught our goomba ,jock brother singing this in the shower ~bewild...ered...LOL.

It's been out of print for about 18 years. There are 17 copies of it on amazon right now, the cheapest one of which is just under $60, but they run up to $155 for a sealed copy. Start saving up!

You'll have to find a copy of it on vinyl, as his three albums have never been issued on CD. I looked for a copy of his "Best Of" CD for ten years, and only found it for sale once... for $375. It is rare as hens' teeth, and prices reflect that.

I met Tim at a record signing at Sam's in Toronto. I was literally so weak-knead a friend had to drag me away once he signed my album. (He sang a bit from West Side Story for me, as I share my name with a character mentioned in one of the songs. I was a goner ... :)

Great album. Have only seen it in the LP format. Try Amoeba Music in L.A. or San Francisco. Have also seen it in small record shops.

Both the "Read My Lips" album and the "Best Of Tim Curry" CD have been out of print for years. They can be bought used on the collector's market. A good resource is gemm, which has hundreds of record dealers worldwide in their network, who update their databases regularly. Eventually, everything you ever wanted shows up there. All you have to do is be able to afford it. Sometimes it's cheap, other records/CDs go for three and four figures depending on rarity.

I agree. His three solo albums are, in order, really good, magnificent and not bad, and they have never been reissued on CD.

I have a lot of Canadian music to post before I get to other artists. I may have to start another channel for those, but I have plans to post all kinds of stuff in weeks and months to come.
