  • what a Voice and what for a Song,Wow:))))

  • I think Joss and Al are great together!

  • Thx for the vid

  • Whaaaaaaaaa?? I loved Joss Stone in this song!!!

  • At least she came in soft. I thought she was gonna start yodeling from the get go. I could of done with out her but I guess its pretty cool she appreciates this song. If I was in her shoes I probably would of said "Fuck it, I like this song and im gonna give it a shot."

  • Joss Stone as much as i like you as a solo artist ,this song will always belong to Al Green, one cannot ever be expected to compliment a masterpiece in it's original form..

Stick to the day job Joss, don't let hypocrites pull you down by letting them get you to mess with genius, use your own genius on your own music babe x

  • I hate Joss Stone

  • i love the songs from satc :D and the show itself!

  • bee gees rox!

  • kun je dat ook lezen dan....

  • oh ja jan....deze hart is echt gebroken!!!!...en die van de kleine ook!!!!

  • I love Joss and she's amazing.

  • I love this song (:

  • i love this song because joss is in it

  • This was just TERRIBLE! Why would anyone take and destroy this full-time song, by adding a part-time singer to it?

I've tried to give Joss the benefit of the doubt, and she still just doesn't cut it for me. She sounds like she's trying to force herself into being a soul singer.

If it don't fit, don't force it. Just relax and let it go!

    B.P.

  • My thoughts exactly!

  • i so agree with you she is too forced

  • You pretty much sumed it up for me.

  • first and foremost Joss's voice is all over the place Al Green is trying to tell a story and Joss is out in the background moaning and groaning warbling and playing with her vocals.

It is a complete insult if you like the original song.

They should left out Joss's voice because she can't connect to a song like this.

  • IM CRYING RIGHT NOW YALL

  • This classic version could have stood alone. No need for Joss to be on here, but I'll listen because I love this song...

  • @neednotsay It's ok - Why ??? - Because it's appreciated for time in memorial as a great - We need to keep the greats alive no matter what! - xxx

  • I agree Al is the master and Joss is in his thrall. But Joss singing this song alone in her own style would be beautiful. Better than this combined version I bet.

  • Essa musica é linda, mas ficou ainda melhor!!

  • meu essa musica é tudo ,amor paixao tesao tudo que uma pessoa apaixoda quer essa musica é milllllllllllllllllllhao de boa

  • Very fanthastic, both! I love them.

  • Best artist ever! Im still waiting on that answer since i lost my true Loves Ulica & James! rip yr truly missed! thanks for this video Al

  • I like this new version of the song. Joss voice was just the right blend for Al Green's classical style. It is a little bit radical from the original classic style but the blend between Joss and Al Green was beautiful. LOVE IT. Maybe sometime, Joss could also make this song one of her cover songs with her alone singing it in her own more contemporary version.

  • nice song, she can sing but shouldn't have messed up this classic.

  • she is classic already...

  • As I said before! she shouldn't have messed up Al's classic. I know Joss can sing but it would have sound better if she had of left it along.

  • SUPERB!

  • god, she ruins it!!!

  • never ruin a classic joss is my gurl but something has been taken away

  • Is this the bit where Miranda and Steve meet on the bridge?

  • yup, amazing!

  • yeah it is i cried when i saw it ...

  • Love this!

  • its not joss her song! Let here do the kiddy-stuff.Sorry

  • Just as heavenly as the movie.. thanks Al and Joss for returning music to us!!!!

  • fantastic thanks motown for share he is superrrrrrrr

  • Good version...but not the best?,.ktf.

  • Beautiful music from two fabulous singers

  • ONE GREAT LOVE BALLAD

  • Lovely, lovely track

  • Sex and The city reach the number 8 at the 2008 Box Office!! Just before Mamma Mia!^^ congratulation^^ (I saw the Movie three time :p)

  • when miranda is meeting up with steve in the brooklyn bridge. =]

  • where in the movie does this song play? I can't remember...should buy the dvd really

  • Putting on a classic Al Green song and overdubbing a bunch of vocal doodling over it is neither singing a duet with him nor being a backup singer, it's B.S. She drowned out some of the best parts, which she damn sure shouldn't be doing unless her name is Patti Labelle. Hey, I like Joss Stone and have a couple of her albums, but she's clearly not in Al's league, and this the concept of this song is all Fk'd Up.

  • Thank You! I was thinking the same thing. This was a poor production...You can hear the collision not mix. Joss is a good singer...she should have done a re-make alone...and left the classic Al at peace

  • that girl can sing her a** off!!!!

  • it always gets me when people complain about talent that they don't have. This just another version of a great song. Joss is a good compliment to the great Al green. stop the hating and go listen to the version that you like. Damn, you tube has a gaggle of Beatches!!

  • i like the bee gees version

  • well in this moment my heart is broken, this part of the movie express my emotions....so gorgeous....!!!

  • my favorite MOVIE EVER!!!

  • i tried to tell everyone this song was in satc and notting hill.......but noone would listen x

  • Well I love it too each own god bless each of us with something

  • Gladys Knight should slap that bitch.

  • Ahahah!:D

  • I must say this was the perfect song for that scene were they met at the bridge...

    :''''''''''''}

  • Me encanta, puedo escucharlos una y otra vez sin cansarme, Joss y Al Green se oyen tan bien... me llenan el espíritu...

  • ahahahaha <3 youtube, always the funniest comments

  • superb. tune is so pure and touchy.

  • i have always loved this song, Joss gives it a sexy female touch that makes it not just baby making music but hard loving music, she marinates in Al greens chocolate heat.

  • Was never a big Joss fan but she really delivers on this! Thanks so much for the download as the money grubbing asses are trying to make us buy the whole wack album if we want this incredible track!

  • I don't care what anybody says. Joss Stone is

fantastic. I know her future is very intact.

  • I so agree with you - love her.

  • I love Joss Stone with all my love, however, I love this song and Al Green with all my love. I also love a lot of the duets she's done with a lot of singer that I have loved for a long time. But I have to agree with delirous8 she doesn't quit connect with this one. But I do think she is a fantastic talent and a soul singer.

  • Ficou otima esta versão, eu adoro esta musica e sou fã numero 1 do Al Green aqui no Brasil.Parabéns!!!

  • Real nice version! Great song!

    Thank you

    and to Bob for sharing!

  • Total class,.ktf.

  • nice version bob thankyou my soul friend.

  • CLASSIC SOUL

  • Lovely track

  • Sure is a classic...Thanks Bob....Caz

  • I have listened to Joss's music before and she sings over the top and she only has one dimension when it comes down to singing and showing her range.

If you guys want to hear a sweet good soulful song listen to Al Green and Corrine Bailey Rae sing Take Your Time.

That is real singing and connectivity that you guys need to hear.

  • Joss Stone's voice is all over the place in this song.

I can't beleive you guys call her a soul singer

She may have a good tone in her voice but she cannot connect to this song .

She tried to hard in this song and vocal riffs and ad libs is horrible especially for a excellent song like this.

They should of just left this song alone and let al green tell it like it is.

  • How can you mend a broken heart :-(....?

    Been there.....just horrible.

  • one of my fav from the soundtrack!

  • i love joss stone singing style, though She fucked up this song!!!

    Sorry!

  • O_O i rmb hearing this song in SATC .. but i cant rmb... can someone please tell me? O_O

  • you can't mean that this is so hot it's jusst best's I am Old School and I listen to this at sixteen this just great I love it.

  • me encanta esta canción

  • she fucks up a classic adds nothing. Total shite

  • you can't mean that this is so hot it's jusst best's I am Old School and I listen to this at sixteen this just great I love it.

  • I'm old school and this is bollcks

  • are yall kiddin...yea this is a classic alone...but puttin joss stone on it only made it that much more sexy...joss stone is one of the most underrated soul singers...her voice is AMAZING...yall need to giver her her just do...damn go check out "introducing joss stone"...youll be amazed....i promise

  • Is Beautiful,maravilhosamente!

  • Joss Stone has one singing style; over the top.

  • what's the point of Joss Stone on this song?

  • Money

  • Agreed but she just adds her vocals to song when it's unnecessarily

  • GREAT!

  • this daft bint destroyed it .. al green dont need any piss arse bint to sing along with him ...

  • NICE!!!! JOSS AND AL GREEN ROCKS!Perfect! Al Green selected the right partner to sing the song with. Joss made it sound more up to date. Thanks for uploading SexAndTheCityMusic.

  • I love this oldie......

  • josh was unneeded in this song it is what it is still a hot jam i will always love this song.

  • Does anyone happen to know what song that is when Charlotte is taking a shower and accidently takes in a mouthful of water? It's got kind of a Latin hiphop beat. I thought it was on the soundtrack but I guess not. Thanks

  • This song is incredible....Al Green forever...

  • this song is a beauty. Represents the way i feel...

  • I love tis song but i feel Joss is singing "over it" rather than singing along with it?

In which case i feel that the song should of purely been sung by Al green:)

  • Hi, has anyone please the Nina simone song "Look of love" from the film?

    Much appreciated, thanku:)

  • que paso con how deep is your love???

    es mi favorita!!!

  • The original had space that Al navigated masterfully - this one just sounds busy in comparison. More isn't always better.

So what other soul classics is Joss gonna overload with her superfluous wailing? Cupid? Try Me? Georgia On My Mind?

    Can't wait.

  • I totally agree. She did nothing but vocal runs that cluttered the simple nature of this classic. Georgia would be a shame...

I am glad there are still people out there who recognize that some music is good and some just isn't. *cough Jonas Brothers suck cough*

  • I got 4 "thumbs downs" for my efforts though. ;)

I'm curious to know how many of those were submitted by Joss Stone fans who had never heard the original.

  • i bet very few ppl have heard the original. i wonder why joss stone was even featured if all she did was vocal runs. i really am finding i appreciate joss stone less and less the more i listen to her. she unfortunately reminds me of duffy, who reminds me of a mosquito who tries to sing soulfully.

  • e som ate encardir , curti d +...............

  • einfach wunderschön! Ich liebe dieses Lied! Eu amo esta canção!

  • I love this song, Ally McBeal

  • que barbaro... mi cd va a explotar... TWNGO UN CD CON 100 CANCIONES DE JOSS!!!!!

  • I love this song

makes me cry every single time i listen to it
