Yeah, that's not gameplay, obviously. And in total, not counting the flashing lights and blank screens, there's about 1.4 seconds of it stretched out into a 43 second trailer. This could just as easily be a fan-made trailer.

BF is great, been playing since BF1. But I'm going to sit this one out until I've heard for sure that they're properly supporting the software. The game can be awesome but out of my 7 friends, only 2 could actually run the game after a few months. And that's common.

@lSeKToRl Yup. Just played Gears of War 2 and was really disappointed with the graphics. The character models are great, but NOTHING in the game casts shadows apart from the main characters. Everything looks flat and unrealistic. None of the lights in the game cast shadows, not even the sun, and even then the 360 was struggling to keep a decent frame rate. After playing Crysis years ago and seeing every little leaf look great, I can't be bothered with these console games.

Graphics do look great but I seriously hope that there are few glitches unlike Bad Company 2, which was abundant with glitches. Also I hope to fuck they don't run into the same problem with stats not getting committed to the backend Database. The amount of fuck-ups with Bad Company 2 gameplay stats not updating to the backend really took the game down a peg or two for me. Still a big Battlefield fan tho, just pointing out some flaws I hope I don't see in the new release. :-)

@SereneSatellites The transition effects are made in 2D (probably with After Effects), but it's all in-game footage from what I can tell. The lighting looks great, but you clearly see jagged edges without anti-aliasing, blurry surfaces and blocky models (bottles, hands, arms, gun barrels, etc.) There's no reason for those clips to not be in-game since multiple current engines can produce these graphics (and better) right now. Throw in some tessellation and then it'll look like a cinematic.

and there are some annoying things like shotguns(one hit kill even from medium range with instant aiming in and no skill involved, even the automatic) or the automatic sniper rifle the VSS I believe it's called and also, the grenade spam

and Squad Death match could be EPIC but it sucks since it has with big ass maps and isn't adapted to SDMatch
