  • The Shelton Brothers, Bob and Joe, and on some recordings, Merle, were from Reilly Springs, Texas. They were my grandmother's brothers. I remember them playing under the big pecan tree at great granddaddy's house in the summertime. We kids had no idea how special our entertainment was!
