Gordon, can you provide a close up photo of the punch?
I thought I might try to make one as well..
I did see an old plumb bob that looked similar to the shape..
Does the tapered punch make a clean hole or is it quite torn or rugged?
Did you make the pointed section four or five flat edges with the grinder or did you turn it conical and gring the point a little sharper.?
