Yes, I agree best ending to a game ever, It cleared everything up and left the player feeling heartwarmed. The cure for the lambet was epic and Marcus's father dieing made you feel even more sorry for Marcus because he lost so many people he cared about. The romantic scene between Marcus and Anya just made you happy for them all. Gears of war is one of the best games of all times.

@lordbenlee Games take a very long time to make, its not as simple as some people make it out to be. They started designing and putting gears on paper in 2001, making the tech for it, and making a concept for what it'll be. And im sure they started actually making the game in about 2003 or so, that gives them a solid 3 years to take their idea from paper and put it into a playable form. Games are changed alot during the development process, and alot of ideas are scraped.

The locust were a race that dwelled underground until the imulsion mining techniques of the humans forced them to emerge and find more land to live. The queen is a humanoid leader of the locust and the imulsion infects them turning all living things to a lambent form. Destroying the imulsion destroyed just about everything exept humans. Answer enough for ya :P

Im not mad on the last boss/battle of GoW3, I expected u to b with all ur other Gears, like abit of a army, fighting off against loads of Horde in one big final battle. Thats kinda what I wanted, instead the only time u c all the other gears together is right at the end, wen they're all kinda celebrating, typical lol. Oh well, sum how I doubt this is the end of GoW completely, maybe these characters, might not b for Fenix tho. They need to build on the levels more, bigger more enemies.
