we did this in at a community theater nearby me in the summer of my Junior year of high school. I was one of the salesmen on the train, but I also incited riotous laughter during the "Piano lesson" scene. our Mrs. Paroo was RIGHT from Donnegal Ireland, so when she said "And your library fulla books" and the last chord was struck, I yelled at the top of my lungs from backstage "YOU TELL HER, MRS. PAROO!" got in a TON of trouble, but it was worth every second!

Rabelais was actually imprisoned at one point because of his writings; I think a Pope was insulted.
