The message has been forgotten you live by a watered down belief in him who came and placed salvation to all as the good news. Look to one another for strength as the time of testing comes into play. For the message in given and the wicked one takes it form those who would believe. The message is given to those who hear and receive it but it takes no root. Then there are those take the news but fall because of their ways of this world mean more. Love one for another Peace be with you!!

There are liberals out there attacking the Kingdom daily. Let us pray that as the Father in Heaven knows when the Elect are changed. Lets pray for more harvesters and that people realize, we are not closed-minded for preaching Christ Jesus is the only Way, but we are True to what people who have experienced the Love of the Risen Savior.

@GIGiulia Of course, but it's a matter of being pure in heart, Humility we are to be clothed in, but confidence as well. Not saying to go out arrogantly or brazen, but neither afear and ashamed.  You sound like one apprehensive in fear of offending God, not man, and that's a good fear. This gives us the ability to go forward and preach the gospel, and if so done in purity of heart, God will correct in us any unintentional wrong done. For His glory.

@mrjdoggy I am quite bold but seek, more than anything, humility; and the self is deceptive and the devil lies all the time in everything. I think our prayers are important but to think someone will come to God because of them seems prideful to me. I mean God decides who goes in and there are a whole lot of factors to be considered. I shall not stop praying for people but do you see my dilemma?

@GIGiulia Yes! And share it equally, but I don't think it at all prideful to pray for that. If so, you'd have to think it prideful and futile to ask for anything. Jacob wrestled with the Lord in prayer. David, though he was told his son would die, did not hesitate to fast and pray in hopes of turning God's will, it was not sin for him to do so! @GIGiulia ...can do is pray. I as well only draw close to God, and he leads us to witness as He so wills. I'm not talking about trying to hold God to something, if that's what you mean, but to pray for those who you've witnessed to and know that they didn't receive it could only honor God, I would suppose in all my reading. Not saying I don't sympathize with you, it's your reverence for God that keeps you alert, not another's opinion. Not mine.

the lord sent me wandering around schools and university for some time now, i had this big sign above my head telling: FAILURE IN LIFE. I didn't pass any of the higher level schools. But let me tell you, the lord jesus is alive in me. and he tells me to give my life away for him. where i go he must shine, and through this miserable wrech that i am he will find glory in the deepest pits of death. he just isn't going to let me and you go, ever.

'Experiential' I think is the correct word Paul was looking for. He said 'experimental' which means like an experiment. Just a minor buzz word I hear being spoken a lot by a bunch of intellectual try hards who think it means lighting a lot of candles and feigning friendship.

I find it a little frustrating when I tell someone they need to be born again and they start talking to me like they know what I'm saying bu they don't. The Spirit bears witness and it's better to say "I am not born again and I've never met God" than to pretend you do when you don't. The gospel gets preached anyway, . Sometimes I think I just need to pray a whole lot more so people can come to Him but perhaps it's arrogant of me to even think or suppose anyone would get saved through my prayers?

@GIGiulia You tell that devil to get out of your ear! It's not arrogance if it's for the glory of the Lord and salvation of men's souls! I sympathize with you, I've wrestled with those thoughts as well, and people have made so many excuses of their own, and adopted many from the people around them, as to why they don't believe the gospel... but you know they know. May God fortify and encourage your ministry, He knows your heart, and will defend His holy name. May they surrender to Him now.

Unless one os called to "plant" a church, it would never work. I like Paul, even though he could speak in tongues and move in the gifts more often, he's a good man and I respect his dedication to the gospel.
