  • wtf?? requium for a dream!! oh wait this song is perfect for this because of the movie

  • We did this today, I was one of the actors, pretty intense.

  • I was in one of these today, this shit is hella realistic.

  • this is why im scared for my cousin!

  • This felt so real, and I'm so glad they do this to cause awareness!

  • we had this earlier today. After I heard the 911 call in this video, I realized that they're still using the same one.

  • what the crap! y was there a grim reaper????!!!!

  • i saw this shit in video productions

this shit is scary as fuck... idk if this is true or not but fuck

  • is this real??

  • i wish i could find the 2010 one for my cousins school atwater high she played a killed studemt and made her parwnt come and identify her body in the morgue and all it was SO good.

  • My school just did this today: May 5, 2010, in Hobart High school. It was really hard to watch, and some people were laughing It's not funny. I'm a freshman and I was so sick of those older than me making this a funny joke. I was crying today. I knew most of the people who were the passengers. Every school should do this.

  • My school just did this today: May 5, 2010, in Hobart High school. It was really hard to watch, and the nerve of some people who were laughing just made me want to smack them across the face. It's not funny. Someone actually dies every fifteen minutes. I'm a freshman and I was so sick of those older than me making this a funny joke. I was crying today. I knew most of the people who were the passengers. It's a program that works. Every school should do this.

  • @KosuKovu: I completely agree Kovu. The laughing was extremely stupid and very disrespectful. We need to get our presentation of here. ~Edward

  • @KosuKovu the high school i am going to go to does this(: and i'm happy cuz would like to participate and have people (and me) learn from this lesson(: on the other hand this is really sad :( i wish there was no such thing as alchohol!!!! :(

  • @misslilmisshappy I think we're actually getting ready to do this again soon for this year.... I know because they asked our choir to sing at the "funeral". :( It's so awful.... We're singing "In the Arms on an Angel" and "If I die young". I'm totally going to cry this year... again.

  • funny im ten and i know what this is

  • im looking foward to seeing this at west ranch sophmore year...this video is realy good and it hit me hard...i cant imagine what it will feel like when i see it unfolding in person

  • 45 years?? LMAO

  • I was the Drunk driver in mine at my school in texas, Vista Ridge HS. We do ours a lot differently then this one though. Ours is somewhat of a movie, then the crash, then more movie, then the funeral.

It was one of the best experiences of my life. I can't wait to see it on youtube!

  • trabuco hills high school is doing this on march 4th 2010

  • Hahaha2531: as a firefighter and er nurse I love this program. It is a mock drill, but did you know we as firefighters look forward to it as practice because it is so much like an actual scene. If it is training for us you can be sure it should not be taken lightly. And this isn't even as bad as the real deal. Just maybe those that cry are the ones that get it. if you saw the world through my eyes YOU might just cry.

  • Lol they even had death there..

  • we just had this today at Valencia high school

  • You live in valencia? Cool i like just an hour away from there!

  • This is really good. Our school did the same last year. Our class gets to do it next year. I'm looking forward to it.

  • we had this at valencia, as well. had it my senior year and just cried the entire assembly.

what really angered me though is that they didn't really chose people that mattered to all of the subcultures or groups in school; yeah, this is a universal matter, but then wouldn't it be more effective if everyone was represented more accurately? not trying to make this a race comment, but by god, every 15 minutes my year was filled with white kids that i never met or had classes with.

  • i remember this. we got a minimum day for the scenario! AHAHAH!

  • this soo sad i dont want to see this a trabuco hills one more year blawh my cousin says bring tissues u'll cry even tho its fake

  • No i meant the "every 15 min" thing, thats a lie.

  • Eventhough its Not completely real the idea behind it all is very smart! I live far away from America lol, we don't get that sorta stuff but I would like it to Be in Scotland to, all the People Here are very emotional, i wouldn't Be amazed if à mum got à Heart Attack!

  • Do you have to go to a big high school to do this program? I go to a school with around 100 kids in the high school...would it ruin the experience, or make it more effective?

  • No you don't have to go to a big school to do this....

Just because your school may be small doesn't mean drinking and driving aren't going to happen... They should do this at every school, but sadly, not every hospital and police station will free willingly do this for every school... even though they should....

  • my school does this every year. we are doing it next week and i am one of the living dead people. my cousin was killed by a drunk driver a fe yrs ago. i think this is a very good program

  • One of my sons was involved in this program yesterday and today. (Not this school). He was "killed". This is an emotionally charged program. What wasn't shown here was the assembly at the school where the video was shown from beginning to end. I lost it when they showed a picture of my 2 sons in their senior pictures standing in a field side by side. Not a dry eye in the house.

  • This is fake.

  • (to hahaha2531)

If you would stop being so shallow and look at what was happening, you would understand why those people were crying. First of all, you're right: they "ain't" dead, but nearly 35,000 people a year ARE because people makes bad choices like drinking and driving. I personally loved this program. Poeple like hahaha2531 may seem this whole thing as a game, but I'm glad programs like this are in effect to remind people how serious these situations can be.

  • we also just had this at my school yesterday and the day before. it was really scary. grim reapers came and took the "dead" from their classrooms. the funeral was the worst even the boys were bawling.

  • we had the same at our school but we also had a helicopter come out to evacuate the wounded

  • there was one of these at my school and my brother was in it and he was playing the role of the passenger that died at the hospital and when my mom saw him she crying HARD,and when I saw the video I believed he was in a accident, and by the way I think these videos affect the family and close friends of the "victims" the most

  • This accident was much better than yesterdays.

Yesterday seemed more like a walk through, well at least until the fire department showed up, and the CHP announcer didn't really make it feel like a car collision, but more like a Saftey Expo.

  • Just happened thursday WRHS.

I was real emotional and I didn't even get to see the crash site, I'm a sophomore.

And people would walk around like they didn't care just cuz they 'weren't dead', yet every time I saw the 'walking dead' I'd almost end up in tears.

  • ya but man does it hurt when you know someone, my best friend when i was little died, im a dude, i dont cry, but man did i get close

  • [to: hahaha2531]

    they may not be dead.

but everyone who "died" that day represented someone who actually did.

    ok.

    so be a jackass.

you may not take from the experiance,

but dont make stupid comments putting people with emotions down.

  • way to say it!

  • ya i was there too, ironically i just got my license today

  • This just happened today at the same school, my school. I never knew a drunk driving accident would be so bloody. What really bothers me is that I noticed that most teens at my school didn't care at all. It was like they were thinking, "No one really died. It doesn't matter", but I'm glad that there are some people who care. Stop drunk driving today!

  • I saw it at school today too, it was intense

  • dude we just had it today again at west ranch and it was soo depresing and the crash waz intense. there were alot of people crying.

  • very well done!!!!

  • in my school, fountain valley high, an accident happened like this. it was terrible. we had a video like this too.

  • There's Paul-ie!

  • my school just did this today.Monterey Trail high school. we had a two day program. there was a mock scene of the car crass and then a memorial service today. we had like the whole gym in tears. if you really open your eyes and watch it . it really touches you. its kinda of disturbing how wrong choices can harm so many people..

  • hey, this is my school!

I'm gonna be a part of this for this last semester.

  • i think this vid is a great ideal while it might not have real shots from an actual wreck itself it should get the piont across about what will happen if u drink and drive. i am a full supporter of every 15 minutes

  • that guy has beautiful hair.

  • my school in wisconsin did this.

    i was apart of it.

that was the most emotional thing i have EVER done.

95% of people did not take it seriously...

this video actually was very well done.

    props

  • wait...i dont understand

these people didnt really die did they ?

cuz i know onw of them

    aha...

  • hey i am just writing to say my school rockland high school did it when i was going to school so my school did do it to let you know

  • i was one of the people killed in my schools e15m. It was INCREDIBLY depressing, and it wasnt even the real deal. so i really hope people will think the next time they grab the keys drunk...seriously

  • i hope we do it this year

it must be dreadful to watch

    but really teaches something

  • heh nice touch using El Mesias Ricky Banderas theme music

  • God we have to do this again this year! :(

  • God I rember that it was horrible to watch

  • every fifteen minutes is an excellent program and its a shame that every high school can't experience it. my high school had it and it changed my life. i was part of it and i wrote a letter addressed to my parents after i had been killed. i read it in front of my senior class. life changing. PLEASE DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE.

  • I know a couple of you think its a joke but have you ever had to hold your friends head together with your bare hands after a truck driven by a drunk friend rolled over threw him out then rolled over him. i have. i was hit by a drunk driver last year crossing the street as well. it smashed my face in and took a while to look normal again these things happen more than you think and they happen to people just like you.

  • @stevenbryanonline Yeah bro 666 keep it metal

  • I go to West Ranch and I never did get why people were crying so much, since it was a presentation.

  • its because it was so tragic. ppl get all choked up because it could happen and their friends could have been the ones that got killed. so sometimes it looks so real and ppl just think about that it happens every 15 minutes in the united states and millions of ppl die everyday just because of one drunk driver! i started crying just watching my sisters on a tv at her open house.

  • because it is a problem that is very real. It tears lives, families, and friendships apart. Only a monster who didn't know how to feel could look at this and not understand...I guess that would be you

  • I know all about how it tears families apart since it did it to mine. I have been in three car accidents, I know what the real thing feels like so watching a skit on it doesn't affect me at all. So I'm not as much of a monster as you think I am.

  • okay, so i used to live in castaic and i almost went to west ranch i was an 8th grader at CMS(i moved right before high school). did tawney olson really die or is she part of the program ?

cuz i think i used to know her ????

  • If she was one of the people they chose, then no, she really didn't die. Were you in the 2005 8th grade class at CMS? The name rings a bell.

  • I'm sorry. I understand that it was a very somber occasion, but I was really not affected too much by it. Probably because they used Jordan Patterson as the victim.

  • I saw this today, I am getting ready to drive and this totally changed my life. You dont realize what all really happens until you see this. It really was an eye opener.

  • We had that at our highschool. Woodlake Union High in California.. Wow that really affected me.. I was crying like a baby throughout the whole thing... this has impacted my life soo much!

  • we had that today. but it was in the gym because it started to rain -_- but it was supposed to be a big scene on the football field with helicopters and everything :( stupid rain

  • I don't understand. How did they do it in the gym? Was it like downsized? Did they just use the cars?

  • it wasnet done in a gym it was done out side one the road going up to the school it you didnt notice the clouds and the road that the cars drove up and the trees and everything esle OUT SIDE

  • i just participated in mine at my school yesterday and today, it is REALLY intense, the whole thing is such an emotional roller coaster, and the message really sinks in deep

  • I remember when they did it at my school. One of my friends was one of the ones who was "killed" just the idea of seeing her ,my best friend, in a body bag, with a tag on her toe made me feel like throwing up. I know how you feel

  • Oh yeah we had ours today. It was sad

  • what the hell man?!?!

  • thats cool you guys had it on the street. WE HAD OURS on the freaking soccer field but it was still emotional.

  • how do you get them to have the program at your school?

  • Not really sure. They just did this at our school today (thats why I'm checking out the video lol) I know at our school we only have it every 4 years or so. You should check out there website and maybe there you can figure out how to sign up the school

  • They showed the more in depth video from our school, what the people were doing beforehand, the party, the crash, up close scenes for what we saw yesterday, the helicopter landing at the hospital, them trying to save her, telling the parents, the drunk driver in jail. It was so sad. Then we had a guest speaker whose husband and 4 month old baby were killed by a drunk driver that was driving 70 miles an hour or faster going the wrong direction on the freeway.

  • Today was the second day of this program. By the end I was emotionally drained...it was hard. They had the funeral. Parents of the "victems" talked about there kids, and then the parents and friends of the other people taken during the day from every 15 minutes talked.

  • the fake blood looks like red paint

  • Our school just did this today, we will see our video tomarrow, yours seems more realistic with the facepaint tho...

  • they did this at my school today

  • Wow that was very well put together

We just had that at my school also

just not at detailed into somethings

  • yeah. We just had it at my school today. IF they had done it better I probably would have gotten more emotional. But as it was, we were in the bleachers, it was freezing, hard to hear, and you couldn't even see what they were doing really. I mean if we were in the street gathered around the car it would have been so much more shocking.

  • We just had this at our school. It was really scary and realistic.

  • wow the trial and the hospital they did at this one made it soo much more emotional and realistic.

  • I know, i don't know if our school did that!

  • thats the whole point of it.. its to make it so it can prevent these kinds of things

  • we did this at our school!!!

  • omg were doing this tomorrow!!

  • our school did this today

  • because most of the time that stuff can't be prevented....it just happens...but with drunk driving..if a drunk person is kept off the rode that could be one less person that has to suffer...that's why they have the program. There's really no point in having an exspensive car accident for a school telling them to watch their backs because they're idiot drivers out there

  • well said.

  • That still leaves 40% that are alcohol related...thats a lot of crashes.

  • Dudes chill out it's a simulation program the parents and police are in on it this is to show kids what happens when you drink and drive.kids think they're invincible and that those type of things won't happen to them And it may look corny but when you're there it's different you just feel this weird vibe throughout your body especially when you see your friends lying dead. even in fake blood it's still a sickening scene.

  • Guys, I wasn't referring to this video when I said its illegal to fake your death. I was replying to SeanHerron's response asking why it would be illegal to fake your death. The YouTube comments are just messed up and didn't put my response next to his. Sheesh people.

  • goodbye donny :(

  • I just did that today! I was crying because the victim who died was my friend since 1st grade and when they took him away i couldnt take it. This leaves a heavy impact, im glad they do this. You dont expect to get emotional, but it HITS you HARD.

  • this like, gave me chills.

i'm going to be participating in my school's program on april 1st,

i'm going to be a dead kid, but not involved in the accident, thankfully.

    i'm nervous.

    wow.

  • dude wtf are u people talking about!! this is a great video and an amazing program! have u ever had a friend really die cause of this? ours is tomorrow and i can't wait!!

  • everyone who says this program is bad, just shut the fuck up. it is a good way to get kids to not drink and drive. they can see it happens to everyone. my sister was on of the people that died instanly in E15M.

  • i think this program is greaaaat.

    btw

go valencia high ;O lolol screw westranch?! jkjk

  • i realy want this to happen at my school. ive been in my school for a very short time and already i know about someone passing out during class cause of alchole i know this might happen to my school kids got killed at my other school district cause of reckless driving

  • I can see myself at 2:06

  • I go to Valencia and this happened at my school yesterday. I'm a sophomore so I didn't get to really be part of it, but it was still pretty emotional watching everything. I'm not sure if I'm really looking forward to it once I'm a senior...

  • the music in 1:26 is from the danny phantom movie trailer.

they did this at my school today

  • its terrible how they do this

they did it at my school a couple years ago

  • Awesome video.! I helped with this and was glad to!

    emotional day.

    inspirational day...

  • wow its kind corny with the grim reaper but as long as it made an impact on everyones lives.

  • i participated as one of the walking dead at my hs.

    it was intense and sad.

    don't drink and drive!!!

  • very well done er did this atr my school too

  • we did this this year except our obicthuaries were read over the intercome and they made you put on paint all over your face. its a very affective event

  • i go to west ranch so i know what im saying, and this is fake but still very awesome

  • yes it my be fake but it is all ture many young adults face what this video shows. im a firefighter/emt i am familiar with doing things like this video shows mock mva's are a way of showing kids what not to do and the realistic aspect of what the consequences are if they do. dont drink and drive

  • aw sweet, requiem for a dream

  • Wow, this was far better than the one we had at Tam.

  • amazing out of all of them. i'm going to be one of the actors in my mock crash at prom which i have waited for all four years of high school. i can't wait at all! just the intensity of this one wins me over and makes me want to act it so much better and put so much more passion into it

  • did you know that none of the parents were told

  • Yes they do...they all go to a meeting beforehand. They know it's fake.

  • really, thats not what i was told, and i go to the school

  • LOL its illegal to fake your death, so yeah the parents HAD to know

  • yeah...and I go to the school too. I helped make the video.

and it's not illegal to fake your death. why would that be illegal?

  • false advertising maybe? i think that there have been cases of a wanted man "dieing" only to be seen playing 18 holes of golf the next day

  • the parents usually attend at least one meeting before the event and they are aware of what is going one. Even if faking your own death weren't illegal (which I beleive it is for fraud reasons) it would be illegal to kidnap the kids to pull the whole thing off. They do deliver death certificates to the parents as part of the video though. At least at my school they do. It is a very effective program.

  • Faking your death is illegal because you can collect insurance money and avoid paying taxes.

  • they arent faking their death though...and your parents or someone has to sign for the insurance if you do die..this is just a program and your chosen to do it...

  • yea except the cops are involved so they know what you doing, and it's not like they actually write out a legal death certificate.

    geeze way to kill it.

  • you know the music at 1:20 - ___ what is the name?

  • if i remember correctly, its requiem for a dream by hans zimmer

  • Ha ive been in the sherriffs station!!!

lmfao i wast in handcuff or n trouble , my father used to work there...

  • wow. out of all of them i've seen. i think Ours really gets to me more. great job.

  • Don't hate our prez.

  • This is an excellent video. I like the biography at the beginning!

  • wow sean. i haven't watched this since editing that night. i almost started crying again lol.

  • jeseric: The point of this programme isn't to entertain you or tell you something you already know (that people die every day). It's to make you wake up and consider your actions, and behave responsibly. People may die every day, but deaths from drink driving are preventable. Furthermore, YOU could end up being responsible for the death/s of others due to carelessness.

  • Or you could be injured or killed because of someone else's drink driving. It's not only *you* on the road. I was a sober driver, obeying the law, when I was hit by a drunk driver - he's just fine, and I live with chronic pain and need a wheelchair just to go shopping. Wake up.

  • Now that was a damn powerful response if i ever saw one. And you know jeseric, she is right. wake up and smell the coffee-- you shouldn't have the mindset that "oh" people die everyday" because you know what, you can be that guy tonight-- you never know! Take these into consideration bud.

  • that amazing, we need some adverts like that here in the uk, i know its amature acting and all that, but the message hits home

  • aww yours was in the street? ours was in the damn football stadium

  • Very good.

  • lmao my dads in this video.

  • A girl arrested again. These videos seem to have a specific message regarding women behind the wheel...

  • my school used a boy.

  • coach manalastas blazes ha wow

too bad kids are stubborn and dont give a fuck

im gonna go have a drink

  • sweet my sis is in this video

  • omg this song and the video together made this sooo sad, whats the name of this song, its so tragically beauriful

  • lame...

  • Brought tears to my eyes. GREAT JOB

  • Omg this is so sad. I go to the school across the street still. At Rancho Pico. Even though I didn't know these people, this brought tears to my eyes

  • and why is that, is their acting that good?

  • ha. Yeah I know its fake. But still, its good :)

  • I guess the reaper wandering around kind of ruined it for me =P

  • Hart also had our own "short version" today after they proposed cancelling it several months ago.

    Great program.

  • wow.

im glad your school got to experience this.

Today at Canyon we had our own version of Every 15 Minutes called Forever Young since you guys did it this year and the impact it has on everyone is insane.

    amazing job on the video.

  • Wow

  • i just filmed the every 15 minutes event at my school last week. I don't have the video to post yet but it's about 30 minutes long, very great program, moving and effective. Being behind a camera during it was weird, watching it after editing and post production is even weirder. It's great, can't wait to help out in two more years.

  • Hey, congrats on shooting your school's E15M. Check the one I just shot and posted a few days ago: "Every 15 Minutes Northgate 2007 by Guava Films"

  • and all that in just over 5 mins

  • Wow, that was incredibly well done...

  • omg i didnt have this but omg it made my stomach churn!

  • we had this today
