  • Remember kids, VIkings didn't have horns on their helmets.

    Or wear their hats backwards. {Kids at the end.}

  • Too bad about the Gang Sings at the end! What a crappy way to end the vid. Other than that, it was pretty cool.

    HAIL!

  • iam a norseman :D

  • @Jonteisyxa For a second there I thought you wrote "I am a horseman" - which led me to believe you had been listening to Scooter - One (always hardcore) a bit too much. :)

  • Greetings from a Great Dane Viking...Norseman living in Montana usa

  • very cool

  • Excellent ship...good fun to go out with a bit of living history.

But, I have to agree, that "gangsta" hat and signs really took away the spirit of the thing. Too bad.

  • Ha ha...you really built one. No rowers nor sailers. But you did it! Hug from Sweden.

  • can anyone help me? i need to construct a model longboat for class (about a foot long) and i need ideas. anyone have ideas?

  • and .... they went to conquer treasures and riches of the monasteries in Galaecia.

  • Hi friends,

long ago since we sailed side by side at Lans aux Meadows...year 2000. Nothing learned how to tack a Viking ship? I didn´t see my friend HERMES at the helm. Hope we see ones in Sweden .

  • I liked all , but these white kids giving ghetto signs in the last few seconds. What has happened to us ??????

  • they be rowin´(rolling)like "gangstas" lol xD

  • That must be the smallest long ship I have ever seen... haha.. Beside no one has ever found any boats from Leifr Eiríksson. And the design in the front and stern are wrong. You should take a look at the Gokstand and Oseberg Viking ships. Real ships from that time found outside Sandefjord in south Norway.

  • Actually it's 36' and is a half scale of the Gokstad ship, it is also Fiberglass, very sturdy and sea worthy, made in the UK.

  • Well, It's the thought that counts, right?

  • @JessieRavenblade Ture, But in Haugesund West Norway they are know building a repica of the Famous Viking ship "Ormen Lange", The ship that belongs to the Norwegian King Olav Trygvasson. That Viking ship can carry 170 men! Its huge for a Viking ship.

  • Sounds really cool. Too bad I can't be there to see it.

  • A good sight to see. And the music was well-suited.
