Have you tried to install the latest N-trig Firmware from the Dell Support website? - It is under Input Device Drivers - version 1.68 A00. This will also give you multitouch capability. Otherwise try the touch calibration in the N-trig applet - under the Digitizer Options tab. Also try letting the pen "hover" in the middle of the screen. If all that doesn't work - get Dell to send you a new pen.
