the design is nicer when your nail is horizontal and it works better, but u also can do it vertically, but hats not so good. then u only have to remove all the polish from the skin around the nail. my tip: put some cream, e.g. nivea, around ur nail on the skin, then the polish will be easier to remove

Just apply with a Q-tip petroleum jelly all around the skin area on your finger up to where your finger will be submerged and AVOID the nail! It's fast easy and painless unlike tape. Hope this helps somebody :D

u can do it with your own nails..i tried it but u end up gettin nail polish all over ur finger and its hard gettin it off..even with nail varnish remover and also it wastes quite a bit of ur nail polish x

Wrap your finger with tape, it works really well, then before taking the tape off, use a toothpick and carve through the barrier around your nail, then just take off the tape all around your finger, then use some nailpolish remover to get the last little bit. WORKS SO WELL!

Please use regular tap water at room temperature and the nail polish itself is important so experiment until you can find combinations that work together. Glitter polishes are tricky and the nail polishes must not be fast drying. For the natural nail please put Vaseline on your hands. Then wipe the nail clean with nail polish remover or alcohol. Then apply . The nail polish will attach to the finger as well so be ready with a cotton bud and nail polish remover to wipe it off. Google oceasia

the art 'Ebru' that is really famous in Turkey. It is a little similar to this but they use paper and paint to get beautiful paintings. The paper gets wet ofcourse, but they let it dry. I have seen it and they create wonderful paintings. That's why I was just curious if this could be done with paper instead of nails..
