I have adored this woman and her talents for years, was introduced to her by someone whose taste in music is sublime. When I first heard this piece it was in the movie "The Insider" with Russell Crowe ... and it took my breath away.

sorry, her voice is a bit shrill on the high end. I am not saying she doesn't have a fantastic voice, but its not for me. She could work on her high notes. Every singer has their weak spots and she probably already knows this. so really ...maybe you are deaf gonebadred...

I saw a video of her a few years ago. She's being interviewed; next to a highway evidentally. She shows how she pulls emotion and inspiration from the small things; she mimiced the sound of passing cars with her melodic voice.
