Two nights ago, I slept in a former Nazi concentration camp. Admittedly I was in my camper van, parked next to the former SS canteen but I slept the same as I did anywhere.

I think in order to have paranormal experiences one must have certain type of sensitivity which I clearly lack!

I used to play here when I was little, we would sneak in and loose ourself for hours in all the underground passages and nooks in the fort, loved it there, we even used to swim in the moat. Dont remember seeing any ghosts though :)

Some how I missed this vid when I was going through the list you have. It greatly surprised me when, after I listened to the 1st EVP, I got the image in my head of the mid/late 1800's, and then a few seconds later, you report that is the same feeling you got. I also got the feeling(1st impression) that the beating was done because the victim was homosexual. It could've been anything, of course, but that is what I felt from it.

I am enjoying watching his videos. The sets are real, and obviously the research that Chris to display his facts about each location is astounding and just blows me away for a just a YouTube video. Alot of times EVPs are very quiet and not very clear so you will hear alot of noise with them, after listening to them they get easier to make out the voices and sounds

Tilbury Fort is one of the only reasons of me being proud to live here, in Tilbury. It's such a beautiful fort, as far as ex-tools-of-war go, and even (- the industrial area and Powerplant) has such plesant scenery around it.

I sadly haven't been there, in years though. Maybe I'll go tomorrow, if it's open.

Now that I think about it, last time I did go there, I did feel something about that gunpoweder room. I felt something, I dunno, odd. Especially coming from that little room beside it.

I love your youtube site and the videos you present, however, when you present the EVPs they seem too filtered to the point where you lose the EVP you are looking for. They sound too tingy, like you are listening to them through a PVC or metal pipe and it's definitely hard to hear the EVP you are presenting.

Thanks for commenting. The answer is simply in the audio I have to work with. Sometimes it`s class `A` and easy to clean up, and sometimes not I`m afraid. It has nothing to do with the actual processing but rather more to do with the audio sources.

The fort was designed for military and practical considerations. The 5 sided star shape employed a standard military defensive pattern used across Western Europe in the 17th century.

This fort is one of the few remaining of that period. The star shape is really quite coincidental. What goes on today has very little compass points to a period where practising the "black arts" meant instant death - especially after the Matthew Hopkins "Witchfinder General" saga.
