@jtschid0910 Actually, the only other point that I have used was a home made point on a wooden arrow. It was just a field point with a small roofing nail placed behind it and bent backwards. It worked, but it was a little difficult to remove the fish sometimes.
@LongBowMan89 Thanks for the compliment. Yes, the bow is an old 50# Bear Kodiak recurve. I have had it since I was small. The bowfishing reel is also an older Bear Archery model with a muzzy fishing arrow and 200# test bowfishing line.. The bow still shoots good, but I use a newer Bear Super Kodiak 65# for hunting large game and a 60# longbow that my father made(the bow in my fake trickshots) for small game.
@southtexasatlatl They work good. The trick is to bury them not directly under the garden, but around the outer edges and about shovel-deep. I don't know why it works better like that, but the crops grow exceedingly well. The bad thing is that the weeds grow well too, but that just takes a little more work to keep it clean.
I do bow fishing but I catch and release.

@CONNORWIESELER2014 Couldn't tell you. I don't eat them but people say they are good if prepared properly. I will try it some day.
