It's crazy seeing the size of the venue and crowd, I saw them live last week in Manchester uk, and there were literally around 20 people in the audience in a very small venue, with no flashy lights or special intro but still was great :)

I listened to the CD version, and I think the crowd is quite impressive - especially on songs like "United Alliance" etc. ... there are worse live albums, actually I think this one here is great!

@lostik28 Part of the mixing. When he asks "alles klar bei euch?" you hear nothing. When you search for the fanvideo from this song, wich is filmed from the crowd you hear alot more.

@lostik28 That's exactly what I meant when I saw the DVD after buying. Total fail from swiss audience. Freedom Call deserves much much more.

@lostik28 they're so quiet because for some reason, freedom call live albums are still recorded with short range unidirectional microphones which is a great choice for recording the music, but it doesn't record crowds well at all. I don't know why their microphone choice doesn't seem to be influenced by what they're actually recording. But believe me, those people were losing it right there.

@WszyscyGramyPL well, just ask them, they prefer to release albums with bonus songs only for japan, when they visit south america they are the kings. I believe in Europe there are many bands to choose, so many talented bands some underestimated as well.
