The amp is mic'd. That's why you hear a little noise. I prefer to mic on videos...gives them a more natural feel.
As for the visuals, the original video quality was a lot better. The grain you see is due to a brightness filter and grain filter applied during video editing.
Yes ofc, mic is far superior in everything. As long as you have a good mic, and some good program to edit your recording in. My brother's doing some mixing so I've picked up a few things. He's using FL studio, however, you can easily get the noise away with some tricks. I would do it in an advanced equalizer and lower the frequency the noise is on, usually works. You can see why it would and wouldn't work... I saw some other of your videos so i see now, you're certainly not using a webcam.
@oogggee if you use adobe audacity you can take a noise profile and of the sound before you play and then apply a noise filter using the sound profile you made and filter out the stuff you don't want
