@dkarmydx Well in the manga they haven't beaten Asura yet, Soul becomes a Death Scythe Maka's group and Ox's group form an elite unit, and Chrona goes back to Medusa and a few other things.

It seems like they cut too many important and more interesting details and plot sequences during the conversions between the manga and the episodes.

@dkarmydx I think the same thing that happened with the original FMA happened with Soul Eater. You know, how the anime was progressing faster than the manga, so they had to start making stuff up and differ from the manga storyline completely. Hopefully, like they did with FMA, they'll make another series for Soul Eater that follows the manga completely. :)

Or maybe since Soul Eater (at the time) was shorter than Bleach or Naruto (and had only a few episodes), they didn't want to show the same few episodes over and over.

@dkarmydx Becuase if they did that, there would be no new episodes. Ever. Japan has a a lot of animes and so little time. If one anime slows down, they throw them off TV, another anime will take it's time slot and Soul Eater(or any anime) will have a -very- slim chance of getting back on. Luckily, the English dubs don't have that much pressure, thus we see reruns.
