How is it better today? today the mentally ill just roam the streets..sorry, the POOR mentally ill roam the streets with nowhere to go and are called the homeless with no hope & no help..
no one wants to take care of them. when the hospital closed, there was NOTHING wrong with it. winter set in and water lines bust flooding most of the upper floors which lead to some rooms at the very top to come crashing down onto lower floors. i would of kept the power on, the heat running, and the water flowing. with this war, we need places like this to help our fellow brothers and sisters cope with PDSD, and other mental illnesses.
Some of the doctors were perverts. Marie says in Part 1 - some women were naked and some were tied up in chairs. I agree with bananaxrepublica that the social worker at the beginning sounds scary. I think that it sounds like one of the Simpsons or Tracy Ullman.
