You are all idiots. Parents decided what kids watched and kids were more mature back then and could handle the violence. No "nanny" state to make sure you ADD/ADHD medicated phucktards were protected.
@1000meterstare: LOL!! Yeah, you're right. Parents today are the most hypocritical people. In 2010, these parents probably grew up watching Stallone, Schwarzeneggar, Mel Gibson, Van Damme, Chuck Norris and whoever else, but now they're suddenly concerned about violence, lol!! I grew up in the 70's and loved this cartoon, yet I never wanted to hurt anybody because I watched this show.
94 racers died? there would be an international investigation into this race. this would be considered the worst sporting accident/disaster in the history of the world.
why didn't anyone check on the racer who was hit by the stone? why did racer x chuckle after that driver was hit by a stone.?? why didn't speed stop after the cars behind him hit the trees to check on the drivers? yet racer x went looking for kabala after the mud slide???
I love Speed's reaction to Kadar's death. "Well thats the end of him"

I like how Racer X proves he's not Kabala by removing his mask to reveal a slightly smaller mask

Wow, speed is being very un-speed like in this episode.
- Not caring about the other racers.
- Not stopping to help anyone like he normally does.
- Only wanting to win the race regardless of the consequences.

How the he@# did they get away with that much violence in a kids show?

It was 1967 back then, all this stuff was al lright to show in a TV show, and besides, anime always has these kind of things happening.

True, Dragon Ball Z was so violent it made the Power Rangers look like the Teletubbies.
