Holy crap! If they really sound that good live, they are absolutely badass! I always thought Empire was an awesome album, for many, many reasons, but I would not have expected the live performance to do that much justice to the material. One of the (very) few bands I'd bother to go see in concert.
what does it mean to you? Why would you remove my comments.
Ever hear of free speech. Maybe if you were a little more aware of whats up, you would realize america is in a world of hurt. Sorry I favorite your video if you took so much ofense to it. I already ripe it ao no problem.

Politicians are not really visionaries. I supposed many may start out that way, but they wind up just working for the system at some point. Obama began sounding like a revolutionary, but I don't think he's going to be that much different than Bush. Obama says all the right things, but that's what politicians do.
Resist the Pacification Program. Resist the influence to become listless and unresponsive to your own Knowledge. Resist the Intervention through awareness, through advocacy and through understanding. Promote human cooperation, unity and integrity.
alot of these guys music is almost prophetic like the song sign of the times. and the song empire really showed what has been going on under our noses while the media just blows these problems off instead of warning people.
It's the work of the producer Peter Collins (Rush) building the "Empire sound", dangerously close to Rush era "power windows - grace under pressure". This helped to make songs with a dynamic, power and technique really amazing for a heavy metal band in the early 90's.
Awesome song from one of the most underrated bands ever, deserved to be up there with the biggest names. Two world class guitarists, a fantastic singer and killer rhythm section. Queensryche RULES!!!
my favorite song off the 'empire' cd. i remem. ppl calling it 'wimpire' 'cause it came after the ultra-dark 'mindcrime' i think they peaked with this album
I just saw them in Denver 2 weeks ago and they were as good as I've ever seen them. They did a blazing version of Neon Knights that blew mind. I liked DeGarmo as much as the next fan, but I think Mike has fit in well with the band. He had big shoes to fill.
Just saw them this past weekend in Atlantic City and Geoff sounded better and they played tighter than when I saw them do Mindcrime 1 & 2. Still not the same band since DeGarmo left. Is it me or has Rockenfeld actually regressed as a drummer since this "Building Empires" tour?

Wow... talk about visionaries. If only our politicians had this type of forward thinking.

Perhaps some of our politicians should pull their heads out of their asses and listen to the words of this song.
