I grow Echinacea flowers in my yard but have no idea what part of them to dry & save ? Is it the flower petals? The stalks? the roots? If you could advise I would appreciate it very much. All the best !
@mukwah1111 You can use all the parts of Echinacea. Flowers, stems and leaves can be used in teas and infusions, and the roots can be powdered and either taken in a capsule, or added to infusions/teas.
Thx great info My big dogs wouldnt let me rub this on their teeth but I would put it in their water dish & maybe syringe some into their mouths. I noticed that they tend to eat grass when we are off my own property by the creek I believe its a need for greens. Will add dried parsley to their raw food over winter. Should I salvage the leaves off the blackberry bushes that I dug up? They are dehydrating naturally in the sun right now as I curse them haha.
A chemist and a herbalist?
How do you deal with the MASSIVE cognitive dissonance?
My guess is you don't.

@astrialkil Yes, absolutely! You can use it as a rinse after brushing, or as mouthwash.

@mukwah1111 Blackberry is another nice herb to use for the mouth. It's great for mouth ulcers, gingivitis and bleeding/receding gums.
