i agree/disagree. i have certain tastes in rap. some rap music i like. however the songs about bitches, hoes, niggas and whatever the fuck else laffy taffys and shit is retarded. for me i like rap for the instrumental side of thing but the fact that rock and metal songs if you listen to lyrics have meaning

very true..but, how can you tell a closeminded person from an open minded one? for all you or anyone else knows...i've tasted every genre out there and, by far, haven't witnessed anything worse than rap...rock and metal is about the music...rap, r&b, hip-hop are all about lyrics that 9 times out of 10 don't make any damn sense...so i ask you..which should an advocate listener and musician prefer??

thats why rap sucks, and rock/metal should always be respected!!

Just alot of guitar wank man. All there is to it. All i really got is speed. I dont know much theory. But i know a few scales and chord changes that i can do while im improvising a solo or somethin. Just gotta practice what you know at moderate speeds, then speed it up as much as possible after you get it clean at lower speeds.
