  • I was quite popular in school but was far from being a dick about it. I was more of a humble popular guy. After secondary school (high school), I lost cintact and have been stuck a loner. I can get back if I want to, but the thing is, I prefer being a loner at times cos no one knows me better than me = won't get in my way. BUT there are times where being lonely sucks...

  • the net is a odd place it makes you want to be friends with people you wouldn't in real life

  • @TheLoveOfTheCattle This is very true.

  • are you done with Christmas shopping? I'm done with my daughter. But I won't stop shopping til the 23rd.

  • @atrocityexhibition12 Thank goodness yes! I finally wrapped things up. I have a few small things for the children but that's it. :) I try to start early in the year.

  • Your hair looks best black. Sorry for the superficial comment.

  • @atrocityexhibition12 Aww, thank you! I'm going back to red next month *hides* I just like it for some reason. But I'm glad the black looks okay! :D

  • @JASaare You are an amazing person! That is all.

  • That's really poopy that your daughter is having a hard time, I went through the same thing. But you are absolutely right, be who you are! Honestly that is great advice for her, and anyone else facing the same problem. If someone doesn't like you for who you are then they're not worth your time. Hopefully things will get better. BTW I'll post an awesome video by the Fies Sisters that may make everyone feel better

  • p.s.red,black,or purple with pink poka dotted hair, you fine as hell no matter what color ya got on that pretty head!

  • hey, preach it sister, preach it,i'm in the choir right behind you.you know,as we move closer into this new age that is upon us,people will start to embrace individuality more than ever now as opposed to the group thinkers all wearing the same uniform.everything from our political system, our religion, and even the way we educate our children from kindergarten all the way into the halls of academia, all those old corrupted, power based hidden agenda systems are going down.so work it black jesus

  • I always wanted to fit in but always had trouble fitting in because I am not like everyone else.

The way I look, dress, and act is different from anyone else that I know if. I also have a problem of caring what others may think about me, I don't know why though. I have never fitted in anywhere in life even when I was little so I just spent a good portion of my alone. Not too many people liked hanging out with me which made me feel like an outcast. I still feel that way to this day actually.

  • @MitziDeMarco4 You're awesome, Mitzi. No one should ever make you feel any different. Sending you hugs!

  • @JASaare Thank you, Jaime. Sadly there are people in this world who get their jollies by bringing other people down. I think me being bullied when I was little and plus my family talking crap about me made me have a low opinion about myself. I guess that's why I'm my own worst critic. Thank you for the love. Have a good one and hugs back. :-)

  • I used to get bullied a lot when I was younger too and it really does effect and messes up your self-esteem... but it is true that it gets better with age and you really do learn to appreciate yourself and the people that care and respect you for who you are

I’m sure that with a loving and cool mom like you, you're children will be ok no matter what

  • @VargasXX78 It really does, even when you do get older. It's kind of sad how much we all just want to belong, but the good thing is we can belong. It's just that sometimes it's not with certain people. :) I think my kiddos will be all right. I'll keep doing my best to support them.

  • I wish I had you as a mother

  • @annonymouse510 That's the sweetest thing to say -- tell my kids that! LOL Just kidding, they're great kids. :)

  • im sorry ur daughter is going throught this...i was in that situation too when i was younger mainly for being gay, throught out high school i just told myself im almost done n i wont deal w/ this same immature ppl anymore..i feel the exact same way as u, if u dont like me for who i am then fuck it im not gonna lose sleep over it...great message jaime :)

  • @spr12cr This makes me so sad, but I'm so glad you're stronger than they are. Some people need to be hit with the silly stick. :)

  • It is hurtful, when you're ignored. As a human, you are right: you need to truly THINK about why you're hurt. Usually, when I do that, I don't give a fuck. LOL!

I STILL have nightmares about my school years. I FUCKING HATED IT. Why? Cuz' I fell into that trap of "you're worthless if you don't fit in".

It has taken me a lifetime to figure out what Popeye told me years ago: I 'yam what I 'yam. (-:

As usual: your message is as BEAUTIFUL as you are!

  • @01291607 The Popeye statement is a sound truth. :) I'm glad you overcame all of that. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing.

  • Thank you so much for this affirming video. I am starting to realize that I don't give a shit about the people who are making me feeling so crappy.

You talked about Elf on the Shelf. He sounds a little like the Krampus legend, which I think is right up your alley.

  • @eleniandthecards The Elf on the Shelf is crazy! I'm going to check out Krampus Legend. :D

  • Jaime, you're so great. Messages like this make me so happy. I couldn't agree with you more. I only know you from your videos, but you just seem so endearing and fun. So many people are just so damn materialistic and judgmental. Stay gold. Good luck with yo Christmas shopping!

  • @cymbalman89 No, you're great but I'm glad I made you happy. :) I try to be nice and have fun. And I will try to Stay Gold -- best compliment ever. Thank you!

  • WOW! This video just made my morning, I dealt with bullying & child abuse because of my sexuality & my environment was very "ghetto" but yeah your right, It wont matter when your older, theres a reason why those people won't make it to your life later on, because there nobody, so there opinions shouldnt mean anything to you :)

  • @ThatGuyGus Thanks so much. You're right, the opinions shouldn't matter but I know sometimes they do. :)

  • I love your makeup in this video. :D

  • @orbitalraindrops Thank you! :) The black hair means I have to pull out the shadow and smoky eye.

  • I always had troulbe of fitting in there was a point when i was in middle school where i got bullied so much i did not go to school for 3 weeks but things have gotten better now that i have graduated but other then all that i hope everything turns out okay for your daughter

  • @MrTLR92 Thank you and I'm so, so sorry to hear about the way people treated you. You deserve so much better. I am glad things are okay now. :)

  • i strive on being a misfit i hate ppl who are pretencious and strive on being popular but we all fall in the trap i thoght my best freind was amazing but turns out he was just teasing me as when i was going thru chemo he came to take the piss outa me but im not a loner i have my gf and i have some great freinds ppl are always gona hate its up to u to become stronger or fall down because of it i hope u stay stonger

  • @mysteriosupafan I'm sorry about your friend but I'm glad you're standing about it. Staying strong and accepting yourself (and your inability to change others) is important. Glad you're doing well! :)

  • @JASaare its ok im happy as long as i have my gf and a few ppl who really do like me for who i am ill be fine also i realy think u suit the black hair maybe slowly adding read steaks haha im still half blonde grrrrr i cant wait to get red dye

  • @mysteriosupafan LOL!! I'm going back to red soon but I'm glad you like the black. It's funny -- yesterday when I hit the stores for the first time everyone kept saying, "Oh no! Where is the red??" So yeah, I'll be red again probably next month. :)

  • @JASaare lol either way you look great

  • *HUGS* My theory....fuck the haters. They aren't worth the effort to worry about them. Also, if you don't have haters, you ain't living right :) And you are definitely "my people" too Jamie. REALLY hope i get to hang with you again someday

  • @truedeadman Aww, Scott. *hugs* This isn't so much haters, just realizing I was sweating something just like my daughter and it was stupid really. :) One day we will hang out!

  • @JASaare don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things :) One of these days we'll figure out when we can meet up.

  • Most communication these days is always through facebook and the internet - it can be a positive thing for people who are nice enough to use that form of media. Hope you and your family are doing well... keep it Horror :DDD

  • @MrSheltonTV Thanks! They are. Just geared up for Christmas. Hope you and your family are doing the same. And always horror! :)

  • one of my favorite quotes, and this mostly applies to me, is from a guy here on youtube called TheAmazingAtheist and he says, "always be yourself, even if you're an asshole" people try way too hard to live up to the standards of people they hate and I've just never gotten that.

  • @TheMediaBastard Very true that. I don't understand it either (and as I said I'm guilty of it myself). :)

  • Love this video thank you for being one of the great unique people = )

  • @nixxi1 Thank you for being unique! That's what makes us all special. :)

  • who i am, and i constantly tell the kids that i coach, not to want to be like the cool kids, because that in itself is a sign in insecurity. Instead of trying to look the best, be the best that you can be. If someone doesnt like that, they can piss off and tell their story walking ... its as simple as that. You rock my friend! :)

  • What a great video this is! You're a great person Jaime! ... i totally agree with you about being different is not a bad thing ... ever since i had cancer and still go through depression, i have lived life the way i want it, because i know what its like to be on rock bottom ... so i dont abide by societies trends. I wear the clothes i want and i have the hairstyle that i choose. Which is a massive ball of hair, but like you said ... it sets me apart from everyone else. I am very comfortable with

  • @SpannersGerm669 You're such a great guy Adam. I'm so sorry to hear about the issues with your cancer and depression. I'm just glad you're doing better with yourself and are comfortable in your own skin. Considering you're an amazing person, I'm not at all surprised! :)

  • This video is amazing. I kinda am going through the same thing. I used to get upset when people ignore me but I just recently realized that im fine just the way I am and if people cant handle the fact that were all different then there's no point in socializing with them. There's other people out there that will treat me better. I think everyone needs to realize this.

  • @obsessedwithbooks93 That's very true. I don't know why (and as I said I'm guilty of this) we want to fit in with people we might not even like. I think it's something we pick up in elementary school and it continues through life. Fortunately there are tons of people in the world and you don't have to sweat the people who don't dig you! :)

  • I WISH I had coworkers as cool as you. Their loss. You're one of the most genuine youtubers. Loved this video. You sound like a great mom.

  • @CinemaDust I try to be a great mom. Most of the time I have to fake it. You do your best but it's tough. And thanks for the coworkers thing. I'm sure we'd have a blast and get very little work done! LOL

  • crispy cream donuts are amazing fresh, but people will smell those things and rubberneck anyway. Then santa will be that big bright light to finish them off, talk about zombie flick starter! lol good video as always :P

  • @therealAgerbon Yea I have a interesting personality say the sorts, very random and spontaneous. I come out with things that make people go O_o. Weirdly enough, people instantly become comfortable from it. But ya allot of what you said hit it head on the nail.

  • @therealAgerbon Nothing wrong with making people go O_o lol. :D

  • This video made me smile thank you.

  • @Lethal752 I'm glad my video made you smile. :) TY!

  • love this video too. all I want to say is that what helped me was joining clubs. mock trial, vocabulary, and chess was where I found friends. And not just friends but that little “something” that makes you feel like you are part of a group. Thinks thats what it comes down to being a part of a group. Hope it helps but yeah like you said its part of growing up.

  • @adidaskorn12345 That's true. Growing up is difficult. Hopefully she'll grasp what I'm telling her and won't allow petty things to impact her life. :)

  • she's and inspiration to the community.

  • @slagarcrue85 You're an inspiration. :) Hope you have a great weekend!

  • @JASaare

    thanks jamie. same to you.

  • Jaime, I love this video and it is a great message!! Everybody is the same and we all should be treated equally. No one should ever be judged on the way they look, dress, or act. Everybody has something special and unique about them so no one should ever judge a person.

Middle and high school was tough for me. I didn't like it because I was picked on a lot most of my school years. But since growing up, I don't care what people think most of the time because I love myself.

  • @Rhine1988 You should love yourself Justin. You're an amazing person. :)

  • @JASaare Well thank you Jaime and you're an amazing person :)

  • Where were you when I was in high school?! I could have used a pep talk like that! I was never popular and I never wanted to be because the poplular kids at my school would treat all the "unpoplular" kids like shit. It's been 21 years since then and I'm still traumatized about all the harrassment I went through. I even have reacurring nightmares to this day. Thank so much for what you said! You are truly a sweet person!

  • @72horror I'm sorry I wasn't around in high school but I'm glad you enjoyed the video and the message. I don't want my daughter to have the same feelings you do about your youth so I'm trying to build a foundation. You're an awesome person! Have a super awesome weekend! :)

  • adolescent girls go through internalizaing problems unlike boys who have externalizing problems. You probably already know that. like increased depression, eating disorders, and self esteem. Hope your daughter will be ok it's great to be unique.

  • @NewWaveFan1 Yes, and I have girls and boys so I'll get it both ways. :) I'll just address the issues and do my best to let them know I'm here. Youth is hell sometimes.

  • Nice words sometimes it's good to be reflective and self analytical, gained a like :)

  • @zZombified Thank you. I debated on uploading but wanted so share. :)
