That's really poopy that your daughter is having a hard time, I went through the same thing. But you are absolutely right, be who you are! Honestly that is great advice for her, and anyone else facing the same problem. If someone doesn't like you for who you are then they're not worth your time. Hopefully things will get better. I used to get bullied a lot when I was younger too and it really does effect and messes up your self-esteem... but it is true that it gets better with age and you really do learn to appreciate yourself and the people that care and respect you for who you are

This video just made my morning, I dealt with bullying & child abuse because of my sexuality & my environment was very "ghetto" but yeah your right, It wont matter when your older, theres a reason why those people won't make it to your life later on, because there nobody, so there opinions shouldnt mean anything to you :)

I used to get upset when people ignore me but I just recently realized that im fine just the way I am and if people cant handle the fact that were all different then there's no point in socializing with them. There's other people out there that will treat me better. I think everyone needs to realize this.

And not just friends but that little “something” that makes you feel like you are part of a group. Thinks thats what it comes down to being a part of a group.
