  • I used to play this game for hours on end on my C64, using the famous "Green Monitor"... Gosh, how I miss those times... The datassette still rules!!! XD

  • The best version of this game is

    1.C64

    2 Spectrum and cpc

    3 Amiga.

    Ill explain later.

  • The screen music brings in memory cockies in a jar....

  • Un jeu qui demandait de la patience, du timing, vraiment un très bon jeu pour l'époque...Si les jeunes y jouaient aujourd'hui, ils n'y arriveraient pas!

  • I'm sorry, but I have to say that the spectrum version of this is THE Manic Miner. It just doesnt seem right seeing it on any other computer.

  • Oh shit, it's those killer toilets again!

  • and the foot of death!

  • Fantastic game. Brings back memories. Me and my sister spent so much time playing this, along with Blagger. Haha.

  • the other was called roland on the ropes

  • one of the best games ever lol along with animal, vegetable and mineral, only joking heehee, harrier attack, bomb jack, manic and jet set, i think the hardest cpc 464 game i ever played tho was roland in the caves, never made it past the 1st level, thats if there was even a 2nd lol

  • haha, never really got past the iguana-on-the-stick tape cover with animal vegetable mineral, and still think of it whenever someone says the phrase. good call on games there, roland in caves was ridiculous. there was some other good shooting roland game tho, cant remember name. gotta add ghostbusters as a fave too, never did get that hearse!

  • that game over boot always made me think that Monty Python had made the game.

  • wot a bloody flash back i spent many many many hours playing MANIC MINOR the tune and every thing it all floods back. cpc 464 and roland and typing in millions of lines just to get your name on screen ..........those were the dayzzzzzzzzzz

  • looked way better than on the spectrum .) those colourclashes on the spectrum was

  • Iremember Mmanic Miner years ago. That and Harrier Attack on the Amstrad CPC464 were my introduction to 8 Bit Computers. Ah salad days.

  • OMG I LOVED this game to death!!!

  • I don't believe this... The sound, the graphics... geez this is a huge flashback of all my childhood :,)

  • love this game!.. but I prefer the original, the speccy version! better colours :)

  • A little better than the speccy version, simply perfection on the CPC.

  • Pure class. I never got this to run properly on my 6128,bit had jet set willy to keep me happy.

  • IMHO, I think it played better on the spectrum.

  • Next you'll be saying Head over Heals was better on a Speccy... lol

  • they're the same in almost all regards.

  • What Manic Miner or Head over Heals?

  • both lol

  • it plays exactly the same.

  • Thanks for posting. Brings back some nice memories.
