Great video! I have actually wondered about a few things I was doing wrong, and this helped me identify some areas I can work on. Very clear and easy to understand. Thank you.
dude this video was awesome! i was told the basics rather quickly, and i was having problems of keeping my arms straight, but my hips into the wall. your video was the only one i've watched so far that answered this question for me. thankyou!
@Andiko666 "I don't understand fully number 1 rule, so the point is to swing, not to pull? but if I go up I must pull.." :) there ya go fella.
The idea is you use the powerhouse of Huge muscles in you legs to push yourself up the wall, the arms come in as a means of balance and angling your bodys centre of mass so the you ascend in the most energy efficient manner without "pulling" on the relatively small muscles of the arms.
@Wond3rballs at his level.. He is not going to do it if he doesn't need to. Remember, it is a technique goal. something to keep in mind. Obviously you won't go through a whole climb without bending.
hello i have recently started bouldering and would it be useful if i also start with grippers to improve my climbing ore will it be useless please help me
@MrAnory I would wait until you start climbing V4 minimum before jumping on a hang-board. Remember climbing is the ultimate way to training for climbing! If you need any more help just ask. =)
@MrAnory grippers?? not sure what you mean. But I can tell you that using anything but some chalk and a pair of shoes is not ideal for beginners. Start slowly. Learning to climb is a labor of love with awesome and sometimes surprising benefits. One step at a time. Work technique naturally. Learn how your body reacts to things.
very precise and succinct. highly helpful videos. i am really grateful to you for making and sharing these mate. :)

@Andiko666 no, your arm acts as a fulcrum, straight arm and legs pushing, where are you going to go?

@Andiko666 the point is to focus the effort of moving up on your legs..with support from a long extended arm. Hope this helps. :)
